Also, the ECM is under the hood... there is no way that whacking the dash is going to have a cause/effect on the PCM. Or the CCM for that matter. Sure, it's in the dash, but down behind the radio and rubber isolated at that.

I think it is time to start taking the dash apart, and be ready with a camera...the moving/storage firm may just be liable for this. Unless it's been sitting in your garage at your old home since you moeved east.
