Sounds like a nice show, Tommy.

So far I'm enjoy the new mattre$$ we purchased. The wife says she doesn't like it??? The sales guy said sleep on it 30 days and make a decision. If you don't like it you can exchange it within 120 days. They charge $200 for pick up and sanitation charges but that's better than sleeping on a mattress you don't like. We'll see, it's only been a few days.

Hope everyone has a great day!

What a great Sunday we had. Saw a great concert with ZZ Top as the opener followed by Lynyrd Skynrd. Great show. The casino was kind to both Sue and I . Sue came out ahead several hundred at the card table and I hit a major jackpot for over $1300. First nice win for me this year. Sue has been holding her own and padding my losses.

Agreed that dst needs to be eliminated. Complete waste of time and resources at this point.

It was sunny this afternoon but cooled off a bit when the sun went down.

We all went out to celebrate MIL's birthday. Had a nice dinner at a local Italian joint. Food was good and then back to their house for cake and coffee. Home now and ready to settle down for the evening.

Hope everyone had a great weekend!

DST messing with me too, I slept till 11 and the only reason I got up then was because I saw what time it was. I can't remember the last time I slept that late.
Arron crawled out about 130. He's vacuuming the pool, I'm cooking catfish.
Doors open, sun is out love it
Good looking crucifix, Tee, beautiful work as usual

Hey guys, not a great day for me. This DST is kicking my butt. Woke up and saw it was 7am...felt like 6, but couldn't go back to sleep.

Then went up to church for a mini retreat that was scheduled for Lent. Had a hard time staying awake. Now back home I'm thinking about a nap, but don't want to screw up tonight's sleep.

Yea, that's one of the pictures I took.

I hate F'n wiring...also did a clay bar of the whole paint job and it helped a lot but to really make it nice it will need buffed out I'm thinking..... May try the ceramic route first see how that works....

Hey guys, fairly nice day here today. Got up and dressed for the memorial service. Saw some former colleagues at the service. He was a good man.

Went over and installed a crucifix I built at the church in the next town over. Same church I've been working making new window frames for the rebuilt stain glass.

been working on the Polara.... it has some issues.... it is set up for strip and street but more strip... I knew this going in and the price was reasonable for a totally redone car from the bottom up. I have two whining pumps right now. My pond pump and my home well pump. I have one ready to go in and the other I have to pick up. Around $250 each one. The house one lasted 12+ years so I can't complain. If the next one last 12 years I'll be lucky if I'm around to replace it.

Sorry to hear about your friend/associate tee.

Good afternoon, gloomy here and cold, signifying the end of our fake spring, we now have 3rd winter, next week will be 2nd fake spring. Condolences for the death, Tee. Glad stomach but is better Tommy, it's been going around here too, so far we've missed it. Arron is about to start installing the new pool pump I ordered, old one whined a bit last year so we were counting our chickens with it, this year it didn't want to run but loudly did so till I could order one and him get pool cleared and running some. It locked smooth up few days ago. Found replacements for compete assemblies upwards of a grand, found this motor only on ebay for just under 200. It's supposed to be clear all weekend starting this afternoon, not in the mood to do much tho, however I am wanting to go plant shopping. Not words Arron ever wants to hear.

Stomach bug showing signs of improvement but still hanging around. The bad thing was that I was just starting to feel good and "BAM!" This $#!+ happened. Regaining my strength daily not as many visits to the throne. The 91 is back home. Appears to be running better. I'm going to clean the engine bay today. While it was in the shop it had a fire in there and the shop ownwer sprayed it with the extinguisher before it did any bad damage. Two injectors gave up the ghost. One sending out a stream of fuel that ignited. Trying to get ahead of everything and only got set back by this stupid stomach bug. Well, it's a new dawn and a new day. Spring forward.

Hey guys, had grandiose plans for today, but very little of my plans actually came to fruition. Phone calls from one after another all day had me chasing everything but what was planned. That's ok.

Was quite chilly (downright cold) and windy.

Tomorrow, I have a memorial service for the other shop teacher I taught with for 35 years. He was only 6 months older than I, but was never very healthy... overweight, just sat around and didn't really do much, but never smoked or drank, had a stroke back in late December and never recovered. RIP Dan.

Things that make you go "Hhhmmmm."

Just got back from the dental hygenist. Good for 3 months and will see the dentist next time for check up. Cut the grass this morning and did some yard furnture rearranging. Guess I'm going to have to have a party soon to put all my yard furniture to use. Thinking of celebrating Sue's 60th birthday since we missed it two years ago due to Covid. Never too late.

gloomy here too, not real warm , not cold either. I'd love to see those two bands, especially free Tommy!
off today, can't get motivated to do anything I need to. New pool pump supposed to be here later, was brought yesterday and unbeknownst to me a sig was required and dude didn't leave it. Spent hour and half on phone with UPS to sort that out then was stressed and mad all evening. I swear that was the same gal that you get when you call SiriusXM and other places, from China or somewhere. I press 1 for English, that's what I should get. Not some booger picker on the other side of the globe.
Need to go to gym today and pick up a few things from the store, might just go back to bed.

Thank you casino offers. Free tickets to Lynard Skynard and ZZ Top Sunday night. Well, they're really not free. They're kinda pre-paid by bets. See them before they're dead.

Good afternoon, rainy here off and on, gladly had a couple of "off" moments when I had to measure a big box truck and then a Yukon. The box truck is for a local school's band, the Yukon will be getting retro wood paneled wrap with a business logo on it. Makes no sense, the lady bought a retro lake hotel, emphasizing 'retro', then wants her new Yukon to look retro with wood panels, yet she gutted the hotel, took away it's retro name and look and made it all black, grey white and farmhousey ugly chit. I'll be glad when that horrid design fad is over. Annoys me to see so much valuable MCM things ruined with paint and junk. Oh well, enough of that rant. I better get back to work.

Good Morning CGs!

Cool today and expecting some rain later today. Not sports car weather yet. But the rain should clean the roads off enough to get them out there. Maybe I should get cracking on finishing up the stereo install. One day, right?

Marcus is the new car an addition or a replacement?

Hope everyone has a great day!

Probably just a little sawdust in the rear axle hub Marcus.

Not the best weather day, not the worst. I'm getting all the papers together to sell the cars. Stick a fork in me. I'm through. I'll try to get a reasonable amount and I'll field some offers to see what the locals say. I'm not selling high but I'm not gonna take a lowball offer either. I have some market prices for buyers to see and we'll go from there. I'm really thinking instead of a sportscar to go more luxury performance. A seat that feels like an armchair, automatic because we live in the Miami area and I don't want to be shifting all the time, with some serious get up and go that feels happy at 90 mph and a big enough trunk for grocery shopping. Sedan would be fine. Around 3 years old and low mileage so I don't get whacked with the depreciation. Sounds like a plan, maybe.

work work work....it's the curse of the drinking class.... took the Polara Bear out for a spin yesterday.... lots of rear end noises and clunking and banging.... loose tailpipes... took it on the highway and the car was driving well in OD at 70 mph 2500 rpm.... then I stopped and came back the same way and the OD would not engage so I was stuck driving 60 mph at 3000 rpm.... ya the old girl got some issues to be worked out.... drove nice though..... I was smiling a lot....especially when I got on it in 3rd gear... not brave enough to try it in 2nd gear.... 4:10 rear gears.... very lively off the line...

never give up Guru's

HI TEE---

CLOUDY, SPRINKLING RAIN, 58 DEGREES. SHOWERS OFF AND ON ALL DAY THEY SAY, HIGH OF 66.

TRIED TO GET THE DOG FED BEFORE THE RAIN STARTED, NO LUCK, WE BOTH GOT WET. CUTIE-CAT PUSHING HARD FOR HOUSECAT, HANGING AROUND ON THE FRONT PORCH, BEGGING TO COME IN.

BROUGHT JONAH HOME, DUE IN FOR BODY WORK TOMORROW. CAR SET OUT AT THE DEALERSHIP, GOT SPRINKLED ON, IT'S THE DIRTIEST I'VE EVER SEEN IT :-)

LOOKS LIKE A TWO NAP DAY FO' SHO', BUT WE WERE GETTING AWFUL DRY.

ENDEAVOR TO PERSEVERE, GURUS!

good afternoon, congrats on getting the car home Marcus. I may be more mature also but that hp will still bring out the irresponsible young adult in me.
Tommy I also feel like the country has gone way south. We'd like to move and thanks to things now, we can't due to rates. Good credit now gets you crappy rates. Go figure. Glad your doc visit went well, they've seem to let up on me a bit, hope that's a good thing.
Been bonkers around here, two of the wraps I had dropped off yesterday I got done and approved and now are printing. That has to be some sort of record, but I still have a dozen folders on my desk. Two more dropping off tomorrow and we're due rain. I hate to say it but I'm not being outside getting poured on then having to sit up here all day, and I have a meeting after work out of town tomorrow night, plus I can write on wet paper. It aint worth me getting sick again to be out in the cold rain for someone and miss work.

Ya was gone yesterday to pick up the Dodge Polara Bear 64 Super Stock.... took it for a drive and its a beast.... needs some TLC to get it in a more streetable setup.... it cruises at 2500 rpm at 70 mph in overdrive with the 4:10 rear gears..... I feel that I can own a 573 hp car now that I am more mature.....

pics I need to figure out pics....... what size can go on here? geez.... I'm not very technical.....

The car has basically sat in a heated and cooled shop with a cover on it for 15 years.... maybe has a 1000 miles on it since a complete restoration in 08 and 09. Body, frame, floors all fixed. Car was manufactured in LA and spent most it's life out there so not a lot had to be fixed as far as rust and such.... love dem old Mopars.....

Good Morning CGs!

It's been an expensive month for me so far. Ordered a new laptop the other day when they were on sale. Nothing fancy, just utilitarian. $350 OTD which I was ok with since I saw some for $1,000 or more.

The laptop pales in comparison to the new mattress we bought this weekend. We were due after 18 years (it was pretty well worn out). That cost us the price of the laptop with an extra zero on the end. But it's a nice hybrid mattress with an adjustable base that raises the head and feet. Pretty fancy. Picked up a new mattress for RR#1 while we were there since she needed a new one, too. Luckily that was just a basic pillow top we got from the clearance section for 60% off. Not bad.

Tommy, glad the doctor's visit went well.

Hope everyone has a great day!

Does anybody else feel this country is going to hell in a handbasket? Especially those of the age that have never heard that phrase before.

Hello everyone. I see not too many people had much interest in Tuesday. Messed up weather here. Front with rain making it's way through. Friday and Saturday look promising. Went to my primary doctor yesterday and told me we're all caught up and is giving me a 4 month break. Carotid artery scan and aortal scan came back good. No blockages or potential aneurysm showing up. Of course that doesn't mean much. How many times have you heard of someone dropping and their friends and family say "They just went to the doctor last week.". I was talking to the doc and saying I feel pretty good outside of the arthritis in my knee and back. He responded with "You're going to be 69 this year." He doesn't like to prescribe any hard meds and enphasizes he practices preventive medicine. Because of all the dope fiends in this country nobody that should get meds can get meds.

Good afternoon - started off rainy and the sun came and went, it's 78 out and I've ran my hind end off up here. Walked in this morning to messages, a dropoff of a Tahoe, then a double cab Ram, have another tahoe coming thursday, a box truck coming tomorrow, there's a golf cart here for color change, a Tesla next door for paint protection, and who knows what across the street. That don't count the folks that have been in here or emailed today. Ready to go home.

That's hilarious, I'd have gone with Tommy's suggestion on the name. I got my property tax bill in the mail today too, adding the Rover made mine TRIPLE. Crap it's not even a new one it's a 2016. And, today it was sunny and all I did was sit outside, with the exception of a bazillion politicians texting me. I'm sick of that shit. Seems that would be illegal and I see it no different than the scammy robo calls. Unsolicited crap on a phone that I pay for. Had me lit up a good part of the day. managed to clean the kitchen, price some Easter stuff for the booth, cousin came got that, and I trimmed and sliced a beef filet, bacon wrapped and got that in the freezer. Arron's working and he's already mad fron junk at work, has 16 tickets and people waiting. Waiters gonna wait I say. They have him R&Ring a diesel motor and removing the dash on a Corvette, no way I'd pull of in the middle of that technical difficult crap for some yahoo's silly little job that some newbie can do. Stuff gotta change up there. But, hey, at least he IS getting tickets now unlike the last couple years. gotta appreciate that I guess.
