The top needs refabrication. It's faded and mildew stained. I asked her about going back to the same color. I found out later she ordered tan which is OEM. It was a SURPRISE. I replaced the wheels and tires it came with. No changes seen in the near future.

Knew a bunch of two wheelers that are no longer with us. Sometimes the greatest protection against road rash is having 4 wheels and a cage. Glad to hear she's alive to talk about it.

Hhhhhhmmmmm .....

7:40 AM. Just got back from giving a blood sample. What a coffee drinker wont do to get to have his coffee. The place opened at 7:00 AM and I was there at 6:58.
Should be getting the 91 back soon. My wife decided to give us an early X-mas present. The Vert is getting a new hat.(top) We had a paint matching top but it's going back to tan. Supposed to get up to 81* today. That's too damn warm for this time of year. I ordered mid 70s.
Breakfast time....... Waffles sound good.... mmmmm.

Here is a before pic of the top. I'll post an after when we get it back.

I have FSWOs on both the Vettes. I like them for Florida and they have great wet traction but I understand they don't like the cold. Like less than 35* so check before you buy. I have Falkens on one Porsche and Sumitomas on the other. Even ran through a set of Dunlops. All tires mentioned have given me good general performance.

I always felt that any non essentials should get whacked. I'd call it a Twinkee Tax. Chips, dips, cookies, ice cream. If it isn't in the pyramid of food essentials, whack it. It would make for a healthier American treasury as well as a healthier American.
I drank and smoked for years. I want to get even. Pay mofos. Pay.

Now this is rather bothersome ........

Bonus. Went out to the plant nursery to drop off checks to wifey. There are a lot of farm trucks that drive by our corner on the way to the shippers. Todays bonus was a crate of pole beans that fell off the truck. You never know what will drop. Squash, tomatoes, okra, corn and other winter crops. The price is right. Free .........

Has the ice thawed yet? Recovery will go much faster once the ice has reverted to water. Then comes the flooding.

Yesterday we decided to try and help Macy's generate a little extra revenue. I picked up a couple nice leather jackets for less than a third of suggested retail. A couple nice shirts, some perfume for the wife and a nice bathrobe for Nana. A bad economy is having a positive impact on my wallet. Now I have to come up with someplace to wear my nice new jacket.

How about protesting by taking non-tolled roads? So what if you have to drive further or use more gas. You can stand up and be counted. Or you can use a park and ride. That'll show them.

I might have been interested. Did you list it here? Were they material covers or solid? How big was the table? Round? Oval? Square? Would you have given me a discount for cash? How about shipping? How much to Florida? Were you throwing in an erector set?
