We were discussing early Impalas the other day. Is this the same one that was in the show we were looking at photos from?

I like the 348's a tad more (I like the funky valve covers) but then, the first car I owned was a 60 Impala with a 348.

I have always liked the '59 Cad tail lights on a '58 like the American Graffiti car. Really rare would be a 4-door '58 Impala.

My dad bought a '58 Impala Convertible brand new and that was the car I learned to drive with. It was white on white with the 283 and powerglide.

As a kid I liked the 57 56 55 58 body styles in that order. 58s have always held a place in my heart. Nice looking rides. They're also less common than the 57s. As much as I try I can't find any love for the 59s. 59 El Caminos are tough too.

I really have a thing for the 58 impalas. Even the base chevy without the notchback would do. The convertibles are worth a mint.
