My friend Jack@ McJack's Corvettes gave me a 283 vette engine cuz he didn't need it , It was in need of a rebuild...
My 72 year old friend was in need of an engine for his 65 Impala, so I machined it all up & gave it to him, He assembled it & yesterday he came by jus to say hi in the 65 ! That feels good. Attach file:  283.bmp (697.32 KB) 2283.bmp (697.32 KB) |

Most excellent! My brother-in-law bought a brand-new '65 Impala SS back in the day. Great car, but he still kinda regrets trading in his '58 Corvette for $1600 on it.

Cool! I see the carburetor needed an adjustment. Older cars must need a lot of adjusting. Lots and lots of photos of a guy (or girl) under the hood putting a screwdriver to it.
