Anyone else have their balancer marker like this? Andy, your 92?

And, interesting, the pic of the hub shows a pointer. I just checked, the pointer points directly at the keyway, at least on my 92.

my balancer looks just like yours, except, no writing on it.

I don't remember what my pointer pointed at! I always marked the pointer and the snout and removed.

I thought the markings were what the question was about....

If I misunderstood I'll clarify......every stock LT1 balancer I've seen looks just like yours with the exception of the writing.

So basically somebody marked the balancer for the 360 degree rotation so they could have a visual mark on where they needed to go.

Right, it's the marking that I thought was interesting.
I have all the paperwork from 30k miles to today. The only thing done to the car outside of alternator & w/p was a new clutch/flywheel at 60k.

And the first time I took the balancer off it was very tight(normal).
So, I'll never know when or why. I posted the pic cause I didn't think it was factory.
