If you buy an aftermarket upgrade kit you won't have much trouble. If you plan on buying 91+ bumpers, the belt line moldings are wider and won't match.

The usual guys, MidAmerica, Ecklers(ugh),Corvette Central.

Corvette Central has one that uses your 84-90 driving lights but you'll need 91-96 corner/turn lights.

Also have a salvage vendor or two put together a quote.

When I did it, I went the salvage route. It cost $1000 10 yrs ago. Could be less today.

Besides the bumper covers, you need the crash assemblies behind them (at least to do it right). You'd need all the bulbs and sockets with the bumpers. Plus you need the front portion of the 3-piece inner wheel well. Curb bar and front spoiler are also different.

Basically, if you get everything part of the front/rear bumper "clip" plus the side gills (aka fenders), you'll be pretty close.

Aftermarket kits might require somewhat fewer parts if they've molded the inside of the bumpers to mate up to the crash bars.

Of course a paint job will be likely when complete.

Considering time, effort and cost involved... why not just sell it and get a 92+ car?

Nothing wrong with that. As long as you realize you're spending it to get exactly what you like.

I do like the early C4 tail much better. Much more angular with the classic round lights.

I should have mentioned it in the first post, this one has the early molding:

84-90 has angular front, angular rear.
91-96 has rounded front, rounded rear.
There must be a reason it was designed that way.
