My Club's Sponsor is allowing me to drive a new 2011 Corvette Coupe 3LT. The cool thing is that this is the first Corvette they have taken delivery of in the new Inferno Orange that the Camaro came in last model year. I could not find a photo of the coupe, but here is a photo of the Z06 with the new Z07 package which is essentially a basic Z06 with the Carbon components, (not one of the 500 actual Carbons)

I'm psyched about getting the car. I'm picking it up Saturday morning and leaving them my Xterra. (LOL)
I'll drive it to Baltimore for the Tailgate and Game, then bring it back home so I can drive it Sunday to our Autocross event. It will be on display only for the Dealership at the Autocross. Then I got to take it back on Monday. :-(

Anyhow, I thought you guys would like to see the new color on a Vette. Its pretty bold and will look a lot like Halloween with black trim. Some will hate it and others will love it.

That's what they are banking on... but it aint happening yet. I think the coupe in the 3LT is about 60k now. A nice used one would be a lot cheaper than buying new.

I don't hate the color. I wouldn't pick it but don't think it's that bad. You only live once, write the check!

It's good to be the King...or the President, in your case!

As far as the color, I think it looks better on the camaro. Now a corvette in that atomic orange...oh yeah.

I'm liking the Inferno Orange - looks rather racey, IMO.

Well.... I couldn't get the Orange Coupe because a couple came in on Friday night and wanted to buy it. They were coming back on Saturday to do the paperwork.

However.... I got an upgrade to a Jetstream Blue Grand Sport Coupe!! It was pretty cool and we had a ball! I'm still trying to gather some photos to show.
