I drove 108 miles in a brand new GS last weekend, hardly broken in and it is incredible!! When the engine gets to 3k the exhaust opens up and sounds just awesome!!! Best bang for the buck. Its about 55hp less than the Z06 and will set you back about $12K less than the Z06. Essentially the Z)6 with the smaller engine. How many need the hand built all aluminum 427 anyhow? LOL Droolin'
They are all pretty awesome cars!!

Did you see a price for the GS? I read or saw it somewhere that you can take out the fuse for the exaust dump so it stays open all the time. I might have seen that on Guru.

The one I drove this weekend was a 3LT Automatic with Navigation and a bunch of other cool stuff. After the dealer includes it was $67,800

Options included:
Chromed Wheels ~$2k
Transparent Roof ~$750
Bose CD/Mp3/USB/Aux/Nav System ~$1850
Special Embroidery ~$400
6 Speed Paddle Shift Automatic Transmission ~$1250
Dual Mode Exhaust System ~$1195

These are the 2010 prices and I'm not sure what they were on the sticker I had. From what I understand I could have probably walked out with that car in the low $60k area. However since it was a 2011 there was less margin for negotiation at this early date of deliveries.
