I just got done deleting as much info as I could find, and finally, I've deactivated my facebook account. During the process I changed the password to something random so I won't remember it, and now I hope to be done with that useless site for good. what a useless waste of time.

I've never really cared for the whole social media thing. If someone from the past hasn't contacted me by now, they're not going to. Besides, most people I've reintroduced myself to after a number of years have shown in their response that I shouldn't have bothered. Facebook is a waste of time.
I'm finding that the one place I'm most socially comfortable and at ease is when I'm in the garage, just me, myself, and, I. |

Well... don't forget us.
 I can see your perspective. I must share a different side. My sister-in-law found a classmate from ELEMENTARY school! We are talking 1960 here. Her friend moved away and they lost touch. But thanks to fb, they have reconnected. Even live rather near each other (100 miles?) and get together for lunch from time to time. |

I use fb about once or twice a week at the most. I think I have 20 friends on there? Pretty much family and a few gurus on there. Not really interested in reaching out to old friends who aren't really friends from high school.

Ya, I have a fb account but don't go there often. Many times it's people saying what they like and what they don't like. I don't really give a crap what people like or don't like. My "old" friends are best kept at a distance. That's why they're "old" friends in the first place.
