I love the generous valuations of this value guide. Here is a sample of average condition prices by year. (Coupes).
Special Editions and Verts add value.

1984...$8700...1987...$10400...1990...$11900...1993...$14000
1985...$8900...1988...$10900...1991...$12800...1994...$14900
1986...$9400...1989...$11800...1992...$14000...1995...$15100

1996...$15600
1996 GS...$38200
1996 GSR...$60300

The GS had an increase of +14% The GSR +39%. Most values are still on a slight decline but overall are stable.

If I thought I could get $15K for my '95, I'd return it to stock, sell it and start over with an LT4 coupe. WTF are they smoking?

I read somewhere where a guy bought his first Vette based on that magazine's valuations. He got hosed and was

If someone will give me $10.4k for my 87, as much effort as I've put into it, I'd sell it yesterday for that.

Looking at the Kelley, Edmunds, and NADA is lots of fun too. Just don't have a gun nearby when you look at Edmunds. I like to buy at Edmunds prices and sell at Kelley. In the past I have put printouts from NADA or Kelley in the window of the car I'm selling and got offered the price I wanted. Great tool. Not that I've been selling many. Most of them stay part of the family stable.
