Brian.......odds are against you.

A ticket for 120 isn't near as bad as other things that can happen.

Arkansas weather....if you don't like the weather in Arkansas, just wait a few days. It will change.

So yesterday it snowed 4 inches and was a slop mess on the roads. Today is sunshine and beautiful.

I really want to drive my corvette today. But I hate to risk getting salt on my vette.

How long do others wait before they drive their corvettes after a salt storm?

I think any corvette in decent shape should bring $5,000.

Some may get a better deal than that, but still they got to be worth $5,000.

It's a corvette!

With the right marketing, you should be able to get $6,500 easy.

Find a first time corvette buyer and you might get more out of it.

Sell it to a previous corvette owner, and it will be worth less.

Buying a car from Finks just sounds like a bad idea.

Kinda like buying auto parts from a place we had around here several years ago.......

Stinger Sams.

They went out of business.

With a name like that, it's easy to see why.

All the same, its a pretty corvette.

Mojo
I didn't realize you were chit canned.
I noticed you were gone, several weeks ago, but I thought that I noticed the entire place was different.
I just figured you were not taking part of the strangeness by your own accord.
It really pissed me off when they got rid of Bogus and CC and the others at that time.
Now I'm pizzed off at CF all over again.
I will say this Mojo.....
You were the only Moderator over CF that was likeable.
The others didn't have a PERSONALITY

Come to think about it, personality was the reason they banned the others....

So tell us what you are "dreaming of" in your next corvette purchase.

Short term goals need to be set. If your situation changes, then you can change your goals.

You got to have something in mind.........what is it?

Early C4 with a bunch of mods......Bone stock LT4.....GS....ZR1?

It's one thing to say: It's a bad idea, don't do it.
It's another thing to make it illegal to talk about.

But damn, start a thread about your favorte color or the biggest fart you had in your car and it goes 3 pages.
:

I hear you. I always wondered why those stupid threads went so long.
I got in trouble for starting a thread about some of my; legit, adventures of street mischief in my vette. After I got in trouble I felt like people only wanted to talk about stupid stuff.
I even started some really stupid threads, just to see how the reaction went. And as you stated...........2 or 3 pages.
As for the English problem..........if it wern't for spell check, I would be in serious trouble.
But I do all my own work on my vette, thanks to the fact that I can read pretty darn good, and arn't afraid to ask questions. When all the knowledge left CF and came here........I had to tag along just to keep my vette running good. I wouldn't be able to maintain a 20 year old corvette if it wasn't for these guys.

It made me wonder if we have to state that it was on a closed track, like on that other site?

But seriously, I never speed on public roads.

That would be wrong.

I'm new here too.

I've been driving my 1988 corvette for almost 3 years.

I like it more, with each mod I do to it.

I hope you love/bond with your corvette as much as I have.

I know about half of these guys on here from another forum I was on.

I can tell you this:

I trust these people a lot. I couldn't own and operate my 20 year old corvette without them.

It is like having your own personal corvette engineers to help you with any problems.

Oh......and welcome to the madness.

No...............mmmmm.........hugh?

My best guess is your standing to close to your car when you get in.

Try backing off about 6".

If that doesn't work, then you are standing to far away.

Try moving in about 6".

If that doesn't work, try moving forward about 6"

If that doesn't work, try moving aft about 6".

If that doesn't work, try 6" platform shoes.

If that doesn't work, have you ever seen; "King Of The Hill", Hank Hills father?

I think we will have many more, people on the way over here.
When this forum gets enough members, to always have a few on at any given time, then this forum might put CF under.

I think they decided not to lock it because they are really getting a bad rep for locking needlessly.

I pleaded for them to unban the recent outsted members a few weeks ago.

It was a lot more fun with the outsted members were still posting on CF.

I have to admit, I have a lot of time vested in CF. It is programed into my daily computer use.

But thing is.......a lot of the members; that I trust know what they are talking about, are over here now.

It still feels like home over here, because so many are the same people, who were over CF before the "changes" took place.

Hey CC.

My TKO 500 is still doing fine.

There is a transmission "advise void" on the other side.

Glad I figured out where you guys are.

I need reliable advise from time to time.

Oh yea.....I put a miniram on mine since last time I talked to you.

Hi, I just wanted to say hi.
My first post.
I have been over Corvette Forum for the last 3 years. We lost some good members at Corvette Forum, I thought I would come over here and see what was going on.

If I had one of these I wouldn't have enough head room in my C4.

So........Hi everyone.
