RockAuto has it, for $4.34 from Standard Parts. O'Rielly has it... $14.99!!! PLUS, they require you to buy their $3 connector thing for $21.99!!! NAPA has them for $8.50. Discuss. |

I prefer Napa or Carquest for parts. Sometimes pay more but the quality seems better. And the counter staff is always more knowledgeable. For oil sales, etc, O'Reillys, AZ, Pep Boys usually have better prices.

I try to plan far enough in advance to use GM parts (hopefully Old NOS parts) If I need it now and its something that's hard to replace IE more than 20 minutes work. In order I'll try NAPA, CARQUEST/O'REILLYs/Pep Boys and then Autozone/Advanced.
Seems like Napa still tries to sell First Quality Parts, so does Carquest. I used to hit O'REILLYS first but over the last few years it seems like they are slipping into the AUTOZONE/ADVANCED level of quality. As for the lower tier autoparts sold by the big chains it seems like Tommyboy said it best; "They know all they sold you was a guaranteed piece of shit. If you want me to take a dump in a box and mark it guaranteed, I will. For your customers'-- for your daughter's sake, you might want to buy a quality product from me." |

Napa first then down the list from there. O'Reillys only if its a non essential item like shop towels and that is only because they are close. I buy my Mobil 1 at Wal-Mart which is always the cheapest out here.....
