I read about the cards over at the other place. Felt like pissing away some money so I bought a set of 100. There are other sellers but this seemed like a good deal. The cost is about the same as a fast food lunch.

I bought 5, 1978 GM Promo Models in 1978.

Gave 2 away this Christmas,

If I sold the other 3 after all these years.........I could probably make $10 and fitty cent profit.

This set will go great with our Hurricane Andrew trading cards. We actually look at them every few years, kinda like photo albums. Not looking to get rich. Just another thing for someone to throw out when we're dead.

I have a pepperoni collection.

I like to save one from every pizza I eat.

I keep it in the hall closet.

I did find out that pepperoni from different countries grows different colored hair.

I knew a Viet Nam era Army Ranger that had an ear collection and a blood stained knife. Corvette Cards seem quite tame in the collectors realm.

I had a collection of 54 racing slicks laying beside the house.

Didn't work out financially when I had to take them to the landfill.

I have an assortment of cards. Star Trek, Garbage Pail Kids (the original), 14,000 baseball cards that I bought over a decade ago for $100. I could easily sell them today for about $50. That was back when baseball players were baseball players and not vitamin enriched juicers. Plus my Hurricane Andrew Deluxe Set. Has pictures of all the landmarks strewn around on the ground and communities lying in ruin. Brings back those "I remember that" memories.
