Morning guys.....I slept in some, but I'm out working right now. I have these cabinets that need to be done by the end of next week. It's pretty cool this morning, but the snow they were predicting didn't really materialize. The sun is shining right now and no clouds.

I got new door switches for the Corvette. The original ones were acting funny and found they get corroded, so I got those fixed. With the backup camera in this new Corvette, that's pretty nice, but at night it's not very useful. The backup lights aren't very bright, so I ordered some LED backup lights. I hope to get those installed today and maybe the camera will work better when it's dark.

I still have my sights on replacing the shifter with a "Core" this winter. Marcus's shifted easier than my stock one. The difference is I'm going to keep the stock appearance in mine. Looking at new tires as well, the rears are nearing the wear bar. The Firestone's like I have now are the least expensive run flats in the size (that I have found), but they are a summertime performance tire. So I am leaning toward the Michelin's again. But, I'm not sure about replacing the rears without changing the fronts out. The fronts are still 70% and I hate to throw them away. Maybe I can peddle them.

Well, the glue should be dry enough to take the clamps off, I'll check back later.

Well we got your snow up here Tom about 3" or so they are saying....its the or so part that is worrying...

I am out in office working away at stuff.... Thinking of some things I can do to the Corvette over the winter....don't want to spend a lot of money.....That shifter has about 30% less travel Tom so it is real crisp as you pound through the gears.....I don't think I have missed a third gear since getting it....I also liked the way the stock shift knob felt in my hand but old school won out.....again....

Husker game is away today....I am always optimistic but don't have a lot of confidence that we can pull it off against Wisconsin.....I am glad I don't have to go sit out in this and can watch the big screen surrounded by snacks and able to switch channels when it gets embarrassing...

Greetings! It's a beautiful fall day here, 14 degrees and snowing. Well it's beautiful if you're an Eskimo. Should make for just a delightful Gophers game today. Glad I'll be watching on TV and not in person.

Got all the gluing done that needs done and I got a couple other things done as well.

The day is looking better as it goes on. Almost glorious, just a bit cool. Probably the calm before the storm.....

Here it is, November 15 and I just finished mowing the lawn. With any luck that will be the last time this year. Unfortunately that means snowblower season is rapidly approaching.

And just for fun, I hit the 'vette with Meguire's Quick Detail spray. I can't believe how that stuff makes the red pop right out.

Ken you should give the Chadwick's Triple Play a try sometime.....very easy to use and I use it on the windshield and the black stuff, it makes chrome glow in the dark........The Mequire's is good also I have used it in the past....

Well, I was right, the weather is turning sh!tty. Got home and out to the garage, to install the new back up lights. It's clear but the wind has picked up. Now it's overcast and feels damp.

Oh, I go to install the LED back-up lights and find a PO has already changed them to HIDs. It's a job that has required them to install a ballast and tie into the wiring. I really would like to take those out and install the LEDs, but I'm not sure if that is a reasonable thing to do. It would explain why they are dark when I first put it in reverse. The HIDs should be good, I'll just have to wait for them to warm up before backing up.

Maybe I'll try to send them back and trade them for the LED foglamps.

I'm thinking Nebraska would be doing better if I had been rooting against them. Gordon is ridiculous.

busy day... got the suburban smogged, did a quick tune up, first, tho... and installed new tires...

next? Gotta do brakes on that thing...
