Naw, it's not quite that bad, I guess. How was your weekend? I hung new curtains in the master bedroom, so that will tell you about how exciting my life is....

I am trying to resist vacation mode... it starts tomorrow at 5:01 PM!!!!!!!

Oh, well... off to work...

I'm so excited that I visit here while at work! This is very cool!

My workload is binge and purge. Some days I have two days worth of work to do. Other days, I have nothing. This site keeps me alive on those days when nothing is going on. I'd probably walk around the office making funny noises and disturbing my co-workers otherwise.... :tongue3:

You need an office pet! That would help distract you!

A good thought, but no...

I have three kids, a dog and a cat. I have all the responsibility I can handle. Once the dog dies, no more dogs for awhile. The cat... Well, I may "accidentally" find that another home.

I love animals, but I need a break from them.

Maybe a Chia-Pet.....

On days when i know i wont be busy i take one of my labs to work with me. They keep me company and are always in need of a walk !

We often talk about having an office pet. So I bought this: Purring Cat

As for the Chia Pet - I just saw a Scooby Doo Chia Pet at Target!

I could just see me having that purring cat in my office...


Co-Worker: Oh, hai... Whassat?

Me: It's a stuffed cat that purrs.

Co-Worker: Dude......


Now, the Chia Scooby sounds interesting. Although my office has no windows. Is that a problem? :toothy5:

We have no windows either (we have to go the bathroom to see what the weather is outside - the only windows we have).

Maybe the fluorescents will grow the Chia?

Or....

I could buy a grow light, and grow "Scooby Doobie Snacks' In the Chia! :tongue10:

Of course, then, I'd get the munchies all the time... :tongue8:

I have nothing to say. I just wanted to get in on one of the biggest day threads in recent memory.

No worries! Having nothing to say hasn't stopped me from starting a chat thread.

Got my exhaust leak fixed, turned out it wasn't the cats or connections. It was the screwed joint on top of the exhaust manifold. Loose nut, what a goof! been chasing this leak for months.

Phew, well, I made it through the meeting and home from downtown. I'm so glad I don't have that commute past downtown anymore!

It was nice to have a quite Monday for a change. I was sleepy all day. I guess the time change got to me as I went to bed too late. We had to tear the bedroom down to get ready for new furniture to be delivered on Wednesday. We had some guys over to paint it for us. Man did my wife go with a green or what? I mean the room is really green.

As long as she is happy, I don't care. I can't see it at night anyway.

Green? How green is green?
