Howdy!

I tried to post earlier but the forum server must've been less awake than I was. Kinda drizzly out there, but there are rumors that it will clear up. I hope so, as we were planning to go to the car show in Hastings later. I love me some old cars. And mini-donuts.

Enjoy your Saturday, Gurus!

I couldn't do anything either this morning. Went up to the rectory and put first coat of mud on the sheetrock and taped the seams.

The walls are OK. The ceilings are brutal, even with a dead man.

I'm starting to get a little anxious. Step by step, inch by inch my departure edges closer. I won't settle down until after the safety briefing about lifeboats and life vests is over. then the real vacation begins. We have a sea day right off the bat so that means the casino will be open around the clock for the first day and a half. Same on the way back, a full day at sea before we dock in the morning. I see lots of play opportunities ahead.

Which cruise line are you taking? Which route?

6 days on the Carnival Breeze out of Miami. Three stops mid week at Montego Bay, Jamaica next Georgetown, Grand Cayman and last is Cozumel, Mexico. In March we did the same ship and stopped in Dominican Republic, Curacao and Aruba. We had to bypass Grand Turk due to high winds. In August we go to St Maarten, St Kitts, San Juan and Grand Turk. We're running out of Caribbean Islands to visit. Many we've been to twice already. Next year Hawaii is on the short list.

Engine's a little dirty, too - some SeaFoam should fix it right up.

Nice story. The car is a nightmare. I don't care if Marylyn Monroe farted on the seats, I wouldn't touch a car that is a ground up restoration. Unless of course if it was a 67 Chevy Corvette coupe and I had the parts scattered around my house and under the beds because I took it apart thirty years ago. Then I might put it together step by step and inch by inch.

Good afternoon gang.

Well as mentioned earlier this week I was headed toward the 50 mark. Well today is the day I reach that milestone.

Day started out with a couple of downpours and then dried up but got hot and humid. I was going to work on the truck and replace a bad plug for the AC but that isn't happening. So looks like that may be tomorrow.

House AC took a dump so earlier we went and bought another window unit to get us buy until we get some quotes to replace our 30yr old unit.

Sounds like your going to have a good time on your cruise Tommy.

Sounds like fun! We've done a lot of the same islands you mention over the years, along with Alaska, the northeast coast, and the Panama Canal. Hawaii is also on our short list.

Happy birthday Mike! Tommy, your trip is much easier to plan than mine is..... I'd love to find a Corvette like that.

Weather has been cool by June standards and has been damp as well.
