Good Morning CGs!

Another lovely day to drive the Vette. Had some rain yesterday but it tapered off. Today is actually forecasted to be sunny with some clouds and no rain. We'll see.

I did get a chance to drain the pool a bit yesterday and run the pump. Water was surprisingly not as cold as I thought it would be. So that's good if the kids want to go in.

Surgery day for MIL, so hope that goes smoothly.

I'm up and getting ready for my 2 year check up this morning.......treadmill and other stuff.....am hoping that comes back good....

I'm taking in the GS so that will be nice.....the weather is good here with sunshine and blue skies.....

I have to be fasting for the blood work......so after I usually head for iHop to indulge myself.......mmmmm

Here we gooooo............load up Guru's its the weekend......

Hard to believe it's Friday already, but I am certainly ready for it. I felt guilty, so I drove the Vette today since the forecast took a turn for the better. Any big plans for Father's Day? I'm going to play golf with my sons and BBQ afterward.

THE MONSOON SEEMS TO HAVE MOVED OFF TO THE EAST, THE NATIONS NEED TO DRAIN & DRY FOR A WHILE.

FOUR INCHES IN THE RAINGAGE HERE SUNDAY NIGHT THRU THIS MORNING. LESS THAN PREDICTED BUT A GRACIOUS PLENTY BY ANY RECKONING.

MAY TRIM UP SOME BUSHES IF IT'S NOT TOO MUDDY; IT'LL BE NEXT WEEK BEFORE I CAN MOW.

Hey guys...Been busy all morning. Got #3 GS helping today. Installing hinges and pulls on the refurbed doors. Now to get them hung back on the cabinets this afternoon.

Sunny and hot going to be near 100 the next three of four days.

Well the Doc says I'm good for awhile longer....had a nice ride in the GS took the scenic route back....stopped and ate at Chipotles.....mmmmmmm.....my kind of food....

THE SUN CAME OUT, THE TOP WENT DOWN AND DARLING WIFE AND I MADE A BEER & CARRIE NATION GAS RUN TO TAHLEQUAH. NO ST PAULI DARK, BUMMER.

BUT WHAT TO MY WONDERING EYES DID APPEAR BUT A LITTLE BROWN JUG OF PLATT VALLEY CORN WHISKEY. HAVE NOT SEEN ANY OF THAT IN NEARLY 30 YEARS. GOOD STUFF, BUT NOT AS GOOD AS IT USED TO BE.

Never did I anticipate that getting those doors installed would take most of the day, but it did. Got them done and was waiting on another delivery of materials (which never showed up as promised) so I started another bathroom vanity for a repeat client. Just about got it together and decided that enough is enough for today. Not sure that i'm going to work in the shop tomorrow. I think I need to learn to get away from the job every so often.

Platt valley.....sounds like someplace in Nebraska.....we have corn here also.....hmmmm.....

MIL's surgery went well. Update later once I have more info.
