Morning guys... Up early and went to church. Now after my first cup of coffee, I'm ready for a second. We are headed home after while. I have a dental appointment tomorrow morning.

It is sunny and cool this morning, 64 when we left for church, 71 now and headed to low 80s, but high humidity.

I need to get the bags loaded in the pickup. I'll check in later. Have a great day guys...

Hidey-ho! Looks beautiful out there today, setting the tone for smacking the Pack tonight. We had a good time on the river yesterday, and all went down to what I believe was the last Hastings Car Show of the season afterwards. And this time they had an ample supply of mini-donuts.

Have a great day, Gurus!

...Brad do you think mini-donuts can compare to Nutter Butters.......?

Tom the truck has an 18A in it and the XY shift fork which is controlled by servos died and the truck was stuck in gear and it won't start without being in Neutral.......sooooo......17hundred bucks later its all better........the part alone was 1100 dollars......you think Corvettes have a tax on them, its nothing to what they get for big rig parts......the first one went 580K miles though so probably can't complain......

Saw this today..........Education is important.....but beer is more importanter.......

Nutter Butters are good indeed, but I would head straight for the mini-donuts :-D

I had a little time to kill, so I gave the truck some TLC - got it washed, scrubbed and dressed the tires, and slathered it with Chadwick's. There is no rain in the forecast, but I expect it to start any minute, since I just finished getting it all shiny.

DROVE THE BUMBLEBEE OVER TO #1 DAUGHTER'S THIS AFTERNOON AND WAS HIT BY A KAMIKAZE TURTLE. TWO LANE ROAD, NO SHOULDER, CAR COMING IN THE OTHER LANE,GREAT BIG SNAPPING TURTLE IN THE MIDDLE OF MY LANE, AND I WAS TOO CLOSE TO STOP. ALL I COULD DO WAS STRADDLE HIM AND HOPE. THERE WAS A LOUD CRUNCH AND FLYING TURTLE PARTS IN THE REAR-VIEW MIRROR. THE AIR DAM IS STILL THERE, BUT MY CURB BEEPER AND ROAD TRASH SCREEN ARE ALL HANGY- DOWNY. I'LL GET IT LOOKED AT TOMORROW.

THERE WAS A STRANGE SMELL AROUND THE BACK OF THE CAR WHEN I PUT IT IN THE GARAGE. FRIED TURTLE ON THE MUFFLERS MAYBE?

Made it home after a stop to visit FIL. A side note, when I got in the pickup I pulled my phone out of my pocket to plug it into the pickup stereo and notice the screen is shattered. It still worked with the stereo but nothing on the phones' screen. Got home and unloaded everything. and spent about four hours cleaning adjusting and setting up the new jointer. Then came into the house and downstairs to fix my phone. I usually have at least one replacement screen for it on hand. Within 40 minutes, I had it back up and running. Tomorrow I'll try to get the pickup washed before I go to my dental appointment.
