Wake up me homies.......get up so you can laze around...start with some excellent Columbian......uh.......coffee......and then do nothing but fun stuff the rest of the day....
For you XMaholics I have been listening to the Underground Garage on channel 21.....a very interesting mix of hard driving rock and roll......and not one JD song yet......that's a bit disappointing but still an interesting channel....... Husker game day and we will be headed in to see if we can at least beat the hapless Goofers.......  We need a win to get things back on track after last weeks debacle......Have a fun day Guru's..... |

Just ordered some parts from Dino's. Anyone dealt with them? Should be a great day here. Had yesterday off got a lot of cleaning done. Will decided what to later..

Greetings! It was a struggle, but with a lot of perseverance and second effort, I managed to sleep until 10:00. I am planning to get out there and clean up the last of the leaves today, but it is a bit breezy, so not ideal conditions. Meanwhile, I'll be hoping for a somewhat different outcome than Marcus in today's football game ;-)

Hey guys...I got up with big plans. yesterday, I got a call, from a former student about doing some staining and finishing of cabinet doors and drawers. I went to look at them and ended up bringing the drawers home with me. So my plan was to get the grandsons over to help stain them so I can get them done quickly. About the time they got here, I got another phone call from a freind, asking where we were meeting for the highway cleanup......crap! I forgot all about that. So I leave Rosie to watch over the boys staining and I head up to do my civic duty. Well that takes to almost noon. While I'm out there I got yet another phone call and I tell them I'd call them back when I got back into town. and that turned into an all afternoon project, so it didn't make any difference what I had planned today, it didn't go as planned.
Tonight, after church, we are going out to the "Pheasants Forever" banquet to eat and see how my coffee table sells. I got to get cleaned up. I'll check back in later guys...... |

Yard work is officially done for 2016. The leaves have been dispatched, the mower washed, and the outdoor water spigots turned off. Now I can sit on my butt until the first snowfall. Well, probably not, but a guy can dream.
