Morning guys .......

Well, I actually slept good last night. Up, had my shower and ate a little breakfast. Getting ready to leave for Wichita. Going to,stop about half way there to,visit a teacher (now retired) who is working on the house he bought. Then on to,the doc appointment.

They say it will be more windy than yesterday.....oh, joy! Front moved through so the temps are colder than yesterday,,more near normal for this time of year.

SORTA SUNNY, OFF AND ON, WINDY AND MILD IN THE NATIONS THIS MORNING, LOOKS LIKE WE ARE DONE WITH RAIN FOR A WHILE.

NOTHING ON THE AGENDA FOR ME BUT AUTO ROTATION. THE TOMATO IS UP FOR THE COMING WEEK, BUT I DOUBT THERE WILL BE ANY TOP-DOWN DAYS. DW IS GOING TO A FUNERAL AND HER LADIES CLUB MEETING TODAY. I WONDER WHICH WILL BE THE MORE LIVELY ;-)

Until the anti-gun protests of the last few days, I had no idea how bad the problem was, but our nation is drowning in drama queenery.

Kinda foggy and cold here today....windy but what's new about that.... going to work in the office today..... I am taking some time off over the next two weeks before the rush hits..... we thought about going somewhere but decided to stay home and get some stuff done.....

I'm on vacation here at the house almost daily.

Western fence going up at the nursery today separating a neighbors lot from ours. Sue and the neighbor split the cost. $1400 each. I did some ground leveling and debris clearing this morning while I was there for 4 hours. Now heading out back to the nursery behind the house then dog trainer coming over at 03:00. Next after that, the evening animal and fish pond chores. I should be done around 07:00 PM or so. Just another day in paradise.

Oh ya. Somebody skimmed my credit card at the gas station yesterday and charged $99.78 of gas at a gas station around 40 miles away. I'm gonna take a quick drive up to the local gas station and check out the pump. Vulcan thieving bastages.

Kids had another holiday from school today. I took them to the Chicago Museum of science and industry. My mom got us a membership on a whim. Wow, the place is huge. We didn't even have time to see the whole thing. Amazing place. They have the actual German u-boat that was captured during WWII. A huge exhibit on that. Kids had a ball. We plan on going back another day to see more.

WEll, back home. Doc was tickled with my progress and told me to "Gradually work my way back to normal activities, over the next two to three weeks". So that's what I'll do.
