Internet has been messed up the past several days so I''ve been out of touch. This problem which isn't even on my end cost me a few bucks in computer cleansing, new hardware, (modem/router) and even ended up having my DIRECTV reconnected but at a HUGE discount for one year with no commitment and new tv boxes. I told them I don't want HD, I don't want the Genie, I don't want DVR. Just a simple package. They gave me back the package I had at 25% of what I was paying last month. Even AT&T gave me a 1 year reduction to keep what I have. 2 phone lines and DSL. They sniffed out I was looking hard at new options. Busy, busy, busy of late 12, 14, 16 hour days. i had to help Sue tear down at the festival she was working. It ended at 11:00 last night. My day went from about 9:00 AM to about midnight. Heavy lifting plant pots into the box truck. Aren't I supposed to be getting to a little too old for that $#!+ ? One of those deals where it was me or no one to help load. Asphalt is done at the new nursery and looks great. Pump guy is coming at noon to install a new pump for the irrigation at the nursery. A pit bull terrier wandered in the nursery yesterday giving us goo goo eyes looking for a home. She was friendly ol' gal but her first move was to chase one of the 5 cats. We had to let her wander on down the road. Anyway, I am still alive and well and busy as hell. Brad, enjoy the summer ........ Geez ....... 96 in the shade. ;)

Morning guys....slept in a bit and haven't done much since I got up. It is cooler this morning with a cool front moving through. It pushed it's way through about midnight with a bit of wind. 73 and sunny at 11am...only supposed to get into the low to mid 80s for highs.

Good afternoon, all.

Heading into a seriously hot period in the Philadelphia area—all that weather that folks in the center and mid-west have seen is coming to us over the next three days.

Watching the Sahlen's Six Hours at the Glen today (FS1). At halfway in, Corvettes are running 4th and 5th in class.

OUR DOMESTIC DEER CONTINUES HER ABNORMAL BEHAVIOR. SAW HER GRAZING ALMOST UNDER THE FRONT PORCH, THEN SAW SHE HAD PARKED THE TWINS IN THE WEST YARD OUT IN THE WIDE OPEN, VISIBLE FROM 360 DEGREES. FAWNS ARE NORMALLY SPOTTED IN SOME SECLUDED NOOK WHERE THEIR SPOTTED CAMO MAKES THEM ALMOST INVISIBLE.

THE BIG BROWN DOE IS ONE WEIRD WHITETAIL.

Good Afternoon CGs!

It is hot and miserable here today.

My buddy got some free tickets to the NASCAR race today and the track is only about 30 minutes from my house. I've never been so we decided to make a day of it. We got there early and walked around, hung out, saw a few of the attractions. The race started and we watched the first few laps. Both of us knew right away it wasn't for us. We stuck it out a little longer and left after about 90 laps. So I can at least say I have been to a race even if I didn't enjoy it. It was just boring.

Now I'm exhausted from the sun so I have no motivation to do anything.

I might take the kids in the pool later.

Hope everyone has a great day!
