TODAY IN 1100 KING WILLIAM RUFUS WAS KILLED IN A “HUNTING ACCIDENT”. HIS YOUNGER BROTHER HENRY, A MEMBER OF THE HUNTING PARTY, RODE IMMEDIATELY TO SEIZE THE ROYAL TREASURY. FRATRICIDE? QUIEN SABE, ROUGH BUNCH THOSE NORMANS.

Morning guys...low 70s now, but headed to the mid 90s. Lost Leo for the rest of the week....the rest of the year, really. He is going on a trip with the local cross country team on a training trip to Colorado. And next week he starts two-a-day practices with the college team.

I've got plenty to do, it'll just take longer to do by myself. Supposed to be cooler as the week progresses, down to the lower to mid 80s.

ANOTHER WARM MORNING, 80/82%, 102 THE PREDICTED HIGH. IT HAS NOT BEEN GETTING QUITE AS HOT AS THEY PREDICT, BUT STILL PLENTY HOT.

HAD SUPPER AT THE CAJUN PLACE IN TAHLEQUAH, THEIR ALLIGATOR WAS GOOD, BUT THE BREADING WAS SO SPICY YOU COULDN'T TASTE THE 'GATOR. IF YOU HAVEN'T TRIED IT THE TASTE IS A LOT LIKE FROG LEGS. THE DOG FOOD PLACE WAS CLOSED BY THE TIME WE WERE DONE, SO I'LL HAVE TO GO BACK THIS MORNING.

TRIED OUT THE LITTLE .22; IT FUNCTIONED PERFECTLY. AWFUL LOUD THO---

HAPPY WEDNESDAY TO YOU ALL :-)

Gator tastes like frogs legs and frogs legs taste like chicken.

August ... All hail Augustus Caesar.

Dog days of summer? Hell, the dogs don't even like them.

Last night the ice maker was acting up so I took a look at it trying to figure it out. Of course Sue said to me, "It isn't going to get fixed looking at it." To which I responded, "How the hell am I supposed to figure out how it works if I don't look at it?" Needless to say I found a fix by jumpering the the cycle switch and that reset it. Coming up on 39 years of marriage. You could say I'm used to it.

Taste like chicken -
Good morning, what's left of it. Busy day again, and here I thought I could hide out and rest in here today. Everybody spazzing. And, I have another fleet vehicle coming today sometime from my roofing guys and one of them is about to be mad. Have one with a truck that wants his installed first, and one with an Expedition who was printed first. Expedition dude is new hire, truck dude has a few years in. Not my circus, not my monkeys but the boss of the outfit says do the new hire's ride first.
And, for the first time in my life I believe, I just got told "I'm sure glad you are going on vacation next week, I'm covered up and I do not need you here lol".
Hell if he'd pay me I'd take two weeks together. Can't remember the last time I was able to do that.

VB, two seperate weeks is better for you. I used to take Mondays as I was off Sundays and Tuesdays. made for a lot of 3 day weekends. I liked a lot of little breaks over taking big breaks.

I can't believe how much sweat I can pour. Loaded the S-10 with mulch and now I'm dripping. Came inside to get it to stop.
