Good morning, headed to the beach, prayers for a smooth trip we sure need it. I got the Rover all cleaned and packed and the alarm started going off for no reason. Wouldn’t let me lock it. Up at 2am moving it all to the truck. Frustrated. Ready to get where I’m going and relax. Y’all have a good one.

these modern vehicles what a marvel they are until they are not.... have a peace filled trip to the beach...

mowed the lawn and got a slow leak tire fixed on the Tahoe...and washed ... it is ready for the trip to a wedding this afternoon...

I have been way to efficient and busy today... I believe a nap is in order.....

Hey guys, Been AWOL the last two days. Up early yesterday to try and beat theat working outside building a fence for an 'older" couple. Had no help, so I knew it was going to be a long day. I had One-Call come check for Gad line, power lines, etc. None on the area. I asked the homeowner about sprinkler system "only one line near" running west to east. So I call a buddy to help me bore the 4 holes we needed. Picking one of the 'safe' spots first to get a feel for the gas powered auger. We get almost to the depth when we hit something, "Must be a tree root". Stop and clean out the hole and find a 1" diameter white root....Irrigation line.

Continue with the other holes and go as far as I can until homeowner gets home to ask about it. He finally decides that it is a 'live' line, so I have to finish digging it out to repair it...Have I ever told you guys that I HATE F#*king plumbing?

Today up early to remove the old garage door from the storage shed and install the new one. Again, by myself, but 6 1/2 hours later new door in and working like a charm.

Time for bed

Celebrted 39 years of wedded bliss yesterday. FILs birthday dinner tonight. Hot as all get out and sweat pours as soon as you go outside. Ridiculous.
