Up and around this morning. Already have a mile walk in. A little muggy this morning, and supposed to be in the mid to upper 80s. I think pool time is in order this afternoon.

Good Morning CGs!

Cool and rainy start to the day. Surprisingly it is supposed to warm up over the next few days and be in the upper 70s or lower 80s.

I have an eye doctor appointment shortly. I think my prescription is changed slightly since the last time I was there a few years ago. I guess it's time for new glasses.

Supposed to do a brake job on my uncle's car when I get back home. Hopefully no surprises there.

TB, the new car sounds nice. I'm sure it will serve you well.

Hope everyone has a great day!

A RATHER GLOOMY MORNING, CLOUDY, 72/56%, HIGH OF 84. MAY RAIN THEY SAY, OR MAY NOT. NOT A VERY BOLD PROGNOSTICATION :-)

SLEPT IN TILL 0700, GOT THE DOG FED, WEST PATIO BLOWN OFF IN CASE IT DOES RAIN. THE HUMMERS ARE HITTING THE FEEDERS HARD, FATTENING UP FOR THE TRIP SOUTH. HARD TO BELIEVE THOSE MINUSCULE BIRDS CROSSING THE GULF. I READ THEY CAN DO 50MPH WITH A TAILWIND.

HAD LEFTOVER PIZZA FOR BREAKFAST, UNORTHODOX BUT TASTY.

Good morning, sun is out but cool in the mornings. Hummingbirds are swarming the feeders I guess they're getting read to buzz off soon. Yes, Matt everything is high now, going to eat takes half a paycheck and groceries keep me busted. Trace that all back to those flipping burgers wanting $15 an hour who don't understand trickle economics. Product costs more to make therefore product sells at a higher price. Rent is stupid high, you name it.
Have people coming to discuss a pontoon wrap, and my DARE cops due in with a pickup, we'll see what the day brings.

I know I'm gonna sound like an old person but everything is so damned expensive. If I had known when I retired what I know now I might have worked for another 12 years ...... or not. Just wondering if instead of paying off people's student loans thay can kick a few extra bucks in my direction. Fact is I knew way back I was never gonna be rich and I was never gonna be poor. Guess I'll just be grateful for what I have.

Went to my new primary care doc today. Let's just say I started off leaving an interesting first impression. My BP was through the roof. Got it down with medication. Started on an additional new drug plus with my other three. Before you know it I'm gonna need one of those daily pill thingies. If the time ever comes when you don't hear from me for several weeks you can always call Sue at the nursery number. That is if she still has the nursery. Bloodwork tomorrow, chest x-ray and EKG Thursday. And ..... Away we go!
