Hey guys, up early and off to the church hall to prep for breakfast for the people after Mass. Didn't have to prepare any food as we had one of the lady's from church make breakfast burritos, but set up tables, make coffee, set up the rest of the food and drinks. Added this morning was scooping snow off the walks. The nasty weather caused our normal numbers to be down by about half.

It is sunny, but temp was 18 when I went up and the wind was blowing pretty good, so it felt much colder. Up above freezing now, but the wind is still blowing.

#2 GS headed back to Manhattan for his final three weeks of school. We go up in two weeks to his graduation...and YES, he has finals AFTER his graduation....crazy, I know.

Next weekend is when we, our Knights of Columbus council, do our beirock (runzas for our friends from Nebraska) fundraiser. Looking to make somewhere around 200-210 dozen.

..mmmm... Runzas...... they have homemade Chili and cinnamon rolls also at the Runza store......

did nothing yesterday but eat and watch football on TV along with keeping the fire going in the fireplace.... hours of pie eating and there is still more to go..... I better get started on pie for lunch.... pumkin, apple, and Mincemeat... and no danger of running out of whipped cream....

the whole family is here so my whiskey reserves are dropping... I will have to hide the Wellers if this keeps up.....

Big snow game last night in Manhattan as K-State got beat by Iowa State in a blizzard.... I love those kinda games.... get some pie Guru's.... it is its own food group....

Woke up to cold weather and snow. It's been snowing lightly all day long. Cloudy and glum. I guess winter is here. I didn't get a chance to do a final wash and winterization for all of the cars. Oh well. I'll make do with what I have.

Good evening - been sunny here but cold, and with the wind it cuts through you. Low 27 tonight, bout the same tomorrow. we slept in, then had breakfast and sat around then ran to town to flea market, had the china buffet then home, that's been it. scratch off tickets didn't produce. we need some of Tommy's gambling luck.
Last night the Vette club and the local cruisers club did a drive through our local Christmas light thing, then parked for a couple hours so people could see the cars. Had a good time mingling and hot coco and the photos.
