GRIS, congrats on reaching yet another milestone. 82 seems young now with all these folks bordering on 100 before leaving this earthly plane. You are an inspiration to me, like a reliable Timex. You keep on ticking.

Foggy start to the day. I have to break out the dreaded weed wacker today. I've been avoiding it for as long as I can because of the pressure it puts on the back and abs. It's been over two months since the surgery so I guess I'm willing to give it a try. My insides don't feel quite right but that's nothing new. I thought the surgery might help but alas, it may be something that hernia surgery didn't fix. I'll tell you one thing. I'm not in a hurry to go back to a surgical unit. Guess I'll just deal with it till I can't take it anymore. Preventive medicine prevents me from going to the hospital.

HI TOMMY. WEEDEATING HURTS MY BACK TOO SO I HIRE IT DONE.
I'M WITH YOU ON "PREVENTIVE MEDICINE". A YEAR IN BROOK ARMY HOSPITAL LEFT ME WITH "MEDAPHOBIA" :-)

ITS CLEAR, CALM, AND 38 IN THE NATIONS, 53 FOR THE PREDICTED HIGH. NO FLIES ON THAT!

AUTO ROTATION DAY, HARVEY UP, MAY JUST WAIT FOR THE TOMATO---

NICE VISIT WITH THE OKMULGEE KIDS, #4 GRANDDAUGHTER IS DEFINITIVELY THE DOER OF THE PAIR. INTERESTING THAT "DRESSY BESSIE" IS THE MOST PRACTICAL.

AGE: HAVING PASSED MY 81ST BIRTHDAY I AM NOW IN MY 82D YEAR. NEXT YEAR AFTER MY 82D BIRTHDAY I WILL START MY 83D YEAR. SORRY FOR THE CONFUSION, IT’S INEVITABLE IN THE ENGLISH LANGUAGE. JUST AS 2023 IS IN THE 21ST CENTURY :-o

DON'T SWEAT IT, Y'ALL

...so....you are only 81 now right? so I'm a bit confused but it is of no matter.... it's only a number right? I also gave up the weed eating to some young guys who also do the push mowing so all I have to do is sit on the big mowers and mow... works out well for me....

just a normal cloudy Dec day here in corn country... it has me thinking of places wid palm trees and green grass....

Keep looking up Guru's

Years don't matter long as you still feel good and are on the top side of the daisies with us.
Started off Sunny today, then now it's dreary out, was supposed to be pretty all week, plans are shot now. Making some tuna steaks for lunch, then I guess I"ll run errands or get some more stuff done here.

Hey guys, MIA yesterday. Was at the school making beirocks. As usual, I was the oven guy. Handled enough trays to bake approx 220 dozen. Finished up about 5:30, dead tired and feet hurting.

Working in the shop today.

Happy birthday, Gris!
