SPEAKING OF WHOM IS OFF TO TULSA TODAY FOR DENTAL WORK. LESSON LEARNED TOO LATE: CHECK TEETH BEFORE GETTING MARRIED :-)

Sue and I are both animal lovers. Right now Sue has 5 cats and 4 kittens she is feeding. Offspring from the cats she didn't have fixed last go round. One time she had over 20 cats that had made the nursery their home. Got down to 2. Now the number is growing once again. At home 3 dogs, a cat, a cockatoo, 12 tortoises, 20 koi and several hundred cichlids. She was not crazy about me keeping Buddy, the mini pincher mix but he's a cool dog that gets along with all the other critters and plays up a storm with Snoopy, our dachshund mix. Projects are waiting. Gotta go .......

Morning guys... we are under a Blizzard Warning. It is snowing and the wind is blowing, but not blizzard conditions YET. The heavier snow and winds are still on their way. I was proactive and went down to the storage shed and brought home one of the generators...hope I don't have to use it, but it's here just in case.

Headed to the shop to work on some stuff.

OK, I just went outside....definitely Blizzard conditions now.

No blizzard here, just ugly and raining and cold. Per the norm for our winters, we don't get pretty snow usually. Had doc appt in Little Rock (just over 2 hours away) supposed to get an SI injection to help with pain and I didn't. They all got their wires crossed and today was eval only even though the hip doc already did that. I go back Febrary 5. Another month to wait. This has drug out over 5 years, I don't have that much more life left to keep on waiting over and over. I mean I'm not old per se but I've lost almost 6 years to this, I think that's enough. I drove home in a horrific storm, got within an hour of home and it looked like it was clearing off. Storm was just following me and now it's made it here. And, weather dude says snow is behind that. Ick. Of course my weekend is over and back to the office tomorrow.

....don't worry Matt...I won't forget my BFF's... Had a travel day so left early before the Blizzard got wound up and got far enough west to outrun it and had blue skies when I got to where I was going. They did close the Interstate behind me after the wind picked up... don't worry I showed Doc how to get the snowblower going...

Lost power about 11am, just came back on at 6:45. Just about thinking about getting the generator out of the pickup and setting it up, then the power came on.
