Being a gambler I learned this early in life. When all else fails .... bluff.

Went to see my primary care doc this morning. He recommended a couple of imaging test that I agree with. Abdominal aorta and cartoid duplex images. Plus he modified my heart meds. I think he knows what he's doing. He and his assistant are pleasant as well. Washed the boat and my back yard shipping container yesterday. Both look a lot better. Today I should do a few things but the pillow keeps calling me for a nap. Let's see if I can fight it off. I don't think I will succeed though.

Good afternoon, cold and rainy here today. My vaca spot in Fla got hammered with naders, I figure that storm cell was where the horrific rain came from that I drove home from Little Rock in. Storm goes from the gulf to Canada. We're due some -3 temps next week, really not in the mood for that crap. Just when I thought we'd have a decent winter and nothing harsh, here it comes. I have got to find a way to move away from here. not much work today so been an easy, although lengthy day.

Remember, wherever you go there you are. Sadly, there is no perfect place on the planet.

Hey guys, house finally warmed up. Bedroom was 61 degrees when we went to bed and was 64 when I got up... that's about the normal temp we like to keep it at during the winter.

Sunny and light breezes early, but cold 18 when I got up. After making breakfast Rosie and I decided we should go out and start scooping the snow off the drive. As we were getting bundled up, I heard an engine running and looked out to see our neighbor with his big snow blower about half done with the drive. So we went on out and finished up the details. I worked it out to the edges. The drifts were about 15' wide and up to 30" deep and packed hard. I was walking on top on those drifts, the snow blower couldn't hardly eat through the worst of it. I ended up chopping through about a 20' x 3' area along the south side of the drive.

Went out to the shop and opened the garage door there to find drifts under the protected awning, about a foot deep. Took us about an hour to get that cleaned off.
