Good morning Gris. Nice and cool this morning for coffee on patio, headed up to mid 80s here today. Sending good wishes for the Mrs. Captmike.
I think I'd like a Yorkie or a Maltese, some small dog that don't shed much. However I was recently >this< close to bringing a Rottie home. It was her last day (I didn't know) and she warmed up to us fast and while we were petting her the staffer took a video and shared it, which went all over, garnering her some funds and getting her into a foster placement. Glad to have helped, she was a sweetie but we both decided neither of us is really ready just yet. I certainly am not since I'd be the main caretaker.
Just left doc getting my first allergy shot, have to get two a week. Should've had this done when I was a kid. Said should start seeing relief around 6 months. I hate for it to take that long but there's a ton of shots and strength is gradually increased. At least by spring I should be good, can't wait. Arron is better and has started driving but still can't pick up much for the next 5 weeks, I figure he'll get real bored real quick, we'll see how that plays out.

I SUGGEST A POMERANIAN; THEY'RE NOT YIPPY AND ACT LIKE A REAL DOG. THERE IS ALL THAT HAIR THO---EVERYBODY LOVES BEAGLES AND BEAGLES LOVE EVERYBODY :-)

TOOK DW'S LITTLE BLUE CAR IN FOR SERVICE AND BIG DAUGHTER IS ON HER WAY. BREAKFAST AT LUNCH TIME. CLOUDY AND COOL, RAIN LATER.

HAVE A WILD WEDNESDAY Y'ALL!

Good Morning CGs!

Another sunny day. Not hot, just where I like it.

As much as I prefer big dogs, out Shih Tzu has been great. No shedding but does require regular grooming appointments. Very loyal and always around you.

Mike - glad to hear the procedure went well.

Letty - was that a result of an allergy test or this is just to treat seasonal type allergies?

TB - where will the trip take you this time?

Hope everyone has a great day!

Matt, I've always had allergies for some things, but since we moved to where we are now a few years ago it's way worse. I used to be in Jonesboro here in town, and now I'm a few miles up the road and at the edge of town surrounded by fields with different dirt and weeds. My pcp sent me for allergy testing a few weeks ago, tested me for several things, most of which I had a reaction to. The shots they give me are a serum that's created based off what my allergies are and each series the dose is strengthened. At the end of it all I'm supposed to not need my allergy meds anymore.
