Kids had a good weekend. Their first show was Friday night at the football game and it went well. First competition was Saturday and they won everything in their class and grand champion out of all the bands. They were flying high.

I have a brake job scheduled for this morning on Mom's car. Need to get that all buttoned up and driving safe.

Marcus, glad you got the car back. If it's just a supercharger belt to replace that should be an easy fix. No more "chips" in the computer, they have a tune uploaded to the computer now. And at this point it would be worth getting it retuned by a competent shop because the technology and knowledge has come a long way. It's about $750 for a dyno tune from a reputable tuner.

Good luck with the project Marcus. Currently and in the future I see NO CAR PROJECTS. My project board is full of home maintenance items.

The lightning damage came in at around 3g's. Box truck is still in the shop. Don't know what's going on there. I've been in and out of doctors and dentist offices. Saw the back surgeon and he gave me around a 40% chance of improvement. His comment to me was "If it were me I wouldn't do it.". So it looks like I'll be doing pain management. Went to get a Tramadol prescription filled. It's far easier to get opiods off the street corner than it is a pharmacy and right now they will only give me a weeks worth at a time. I get 1 pill a day as needed for two whole weeks. Good price though. 55 cents for 7 pills. We shall see what the future holds. Two rounds of injections then a request for surgery to burn a couple of nerves in my back. Won't fix the problem but perhaps ease the pain. The skies have been grey for days. Rain everyday. Where is the Florida sunshine? Be well.

You're having trouble getting Tramodol? They give me those like M&M's and since I'm on vyvanse I don't take them (serotonin). I literally just gave a bottle to my hair lady. I was out of Lunesta and couldn't get anyone to answer at doc office and she had my same RX. We traded, she don't take her Lunesta. I think I still have 2 bottles of trams in the drawer at the house. Nuts.
Warming up again here, slow at work till I mentioned taking vaca in a couple weeks then 2 large jobs magically showed up out of nowhere. Still don't have me moved across the street with rest of crew, claims he's too busy to stop just to move me, but it will literally take half a day. Set the counter and my desk in the room, I'll move them around. I can migrate the rest of my stuff. At least get me a desk over there and I'll get 75% moved at that point.

Not a big pill person myself. I do take ibuprofen for the joint pain I have just about every day. I'll also take a muscle relaxer once or twice a month when the back pain is too much to bear. Can only imagine what it will feel like 20 years from now. Too bad Brad isn't still here with his pep talks and advice.

I have often wondered what Brad and Bill's take would be on how the world is going right now..... Brad may have been more tolerent but I don't know bout Bill....

Worked on the car most the day..... getting it cleaned up and some Leno spray polish on it. The cobalt blue paint with some flake in it is real purdy..... need a clay mitt and some paint correction work and it will be a dazzler.... ya Matt the tune came on a chip and then you reflashed the computer or something like that. There is a guy in Lincoln who does a good job on dyno tunes... will schedule him this winter.

The car has no mufflers.... yeah.... just 3" pipes from the long tube headers and looks like the cats are still there so the cats are the mufflers.... more on that later...
