Nice weather predicted from tomorrow till who knows when. Showers today, a cool front approaches tonight. Sweet. I watched a Netflix documentarty with comments from in country correspondents. I learned a lot about the silence of the Presidents from Kennedy through Nixon about the war and participation knowing it was unwinnable. Iraq and Afganistan were also mentioned as the U.S. participated and abandoned U.S support staff in both nations. I signed up and did my time as a patriotic duty. It's amazing how disposable American military lives are. With Russia tied up in Ukraine Russians deserve all the war casulties they have. Not a big fan of current U.S foriegn policy, treatment of our allies, and an administration and government run by fools. Lies and deceit pummel the American public. But like Russia, we get what we deserve. Inflation (not a seious issue), high prices (not really high) and it's all Bidens fault. I am not pro Democrat. More of a middle of the road conservative. I am grateful I am old. Good chance I'll be dead when the deck of cards collapses. Sadly, our decendants will be here to pick up the pieces. China, Russia an the Middle East will keep everybody busy for decdades to come. Glad I could brighten up your day.

Good afternoon, I think the sun is finally coming out. We had "generally sunny with a few passing clouds" forecast for the entire weekend and it's been misty and gloomy and just miserable. That all lights up my depression like nobody's business, and on top of that, the dude I work for has pissed off some lady and she's been posting shit that's gone absolutely viral trying to ruin the business, over her son's "pappaw's truck". She's mad that she was quoted X for the wrap then the bill is a ton more. Well, that's because the "kid" she keeps referring to - who is a 30 year old full grown man - authorized a bunch of restorative work to be done on it including parts. Nobody in their right mind would think that if you add on a bunch of labor and parts, that the price would be the same, except I guess her. And now our social pages are bombarded, and the tint store that his daughter now outright owns is too and it's being taken out on her as well. Rednecks here feel that "family" means you're all alike and if you associate you're all bad. Nothing can be farther from the truth so lawyers have been called and I've tried to avoid it. None of it thankfully had anything to do with me.Except - my phone has been blowing up with page notifications and friends calling me asking about it which all has ruined my entire weekend. I dread going in there tomorrow. Folks calling to shut down a business, over stuff that isn't true, and the fact they have zero dealings with said business, don't realize the effect it can have. It also affects my living and I'm innocent here. It boils down to the grown "kid" using momma's money and lying to her best I can get. Oh well. It has kept me to myself all weekend. I just got home from the deer processor picking up 30 pounds of snack sticks with cheese. One of Arron's coworkers got a small doe a week back and gave it to us, so I cut up the loin straps here then sent the rest there. He wanted allllll of it in snack sticks, apparently he likes the last ones I got. I don't think he realizes how many of those things he gets to eat now, my new little deep freezer is full. I'll grab some to pass out to some friends. About to try to get on top of my laundry and swap out the bedding. I bought a new to me comforter set at the junk store over the weekend, cheap as all get out and it's a really nice one so I spent over an hour at the laundromat around the corner last night washing it. I used the big dryer and this thing still wasn't dry all the way. I've never in my life had one this heavy and thick. I would not fit in my washer and most do, and I used their giant washer last night and didn't have any room to spare. Should be warm with our other cold front headed in this weekend.
