Both could be power, neither could be.

However, if they are, they should move fore/aft and up down with little more than an electric motor whine....

Well, now that I've done at all that, at my current mileage of 224,000, is there anything else that I need to be paying any particular attention to?

Funny, I'm constantly watching the dash for that darn light to come on again... Looks almost a bit odd without it being on, but I'm happy it's not

When I see things like Opti AND Opti Harness, EGR and solenoid, etc, it tells me the mechanic is throwing parts at it, replacing the entire system insead of finding the problem.

But regardless, good to see you're back on the road.

Actually I saw the parts and had a mess. Last code given was egr right at the end, so I bought both parts and told him to install and be done with it. On the opti harness, part of the plug was broken and a pin thingy missing and coudn't be fixed, but ebay has the $100 part for 30. The opti itself was a wet nasty, broken mess. Not sure how all that happened. Everytime I took it in, I made sure to see what was on there before any authorization was given for anything and I supplied all parts as I can get them much cheaper than he could. Been to 2 mechanics, the first one was a dumbass, the second one who did the majority of things, got it up and running in a week. First dude had it 2 months. Parts installed were not in order as post.
Thanks for all you guys' and gal's support with me and my whining though all this!

I said the same thing myself, but in my many conversations with the beautiful blonde bomber herself they were apparently quite bad.

Good to see youve got that thing running again, and you know the lug covers were no trouble at all. Im always happy to help!! Ill talk to you online again sometime soon when we both have some free time!!
