Anyone ever tried the Castrol TWS 10w-60 for engine oil?

Since it is..

"This is the specific oil BMW recommends using in the newer M cars, including E46 M3, E60 M5, and some E39 M5 and Z8 cars (for S62 engine, check your engine bay prior to ordering)."

Just something that popped into my head in the wee hours of the morning

Not sure about the entire label but last weekend Walmart ran a sale on Castrol 5W 30 fully synthetic for $20.00 for five quarts. It was on sale and I purchased 5 qts.

Never used it as engine oil, just trans fluid.

it's OEM fill in the BMW M-cars. It's good stuff.

I worry it might be a bit heavy on the hot side, tho...

Yeah, that's pretty thick. I'd wonder about increased wear, lost power, less oil flow to the top end.

Hell, I don't even use it in my trans. I use manual transmission fluid. (What a concept!)
