Few days ago we talk about the new Renault Z.E. Concept (Z.E. comes from Zero Emissions) that was unveiled at the Paris Motor Show. We said that the concept is based on the new the Renault Kangoo Be Bop Concept and that is powered by a 75 kW (93 hp) electric engine which develops 226 Nm of torque.

The car comes with solar panels positioned on the roof which are used to power a temperature regulation system cooling the inside of the vehicle. Unfortunately at that moment we had no videos to show you the car but today we got lucky and have two videos with the brand new electric concept from Renault. Videos after the jump!

Well it's truly hideous looking which these days means, it'll probably sell. And although I don't think it'll be too many years before electric cars are the predominate commuter and around town car, it'd be a cold day in hell before I'd buy one from Renault given their record of making absolute pieces of shit.

It qualifies as a zero emissions vehicle because it's so ugly that it will never be driven.

After being convicted of a felony make it the only vehicle they could legally drive. Child molesters, robbers, DWI/DUI. Ah, forget it. That would be half the guru community.

I've seen some of the "smart" cars driving around. I think those are hideous.

Most concept cars, however, are toned down a bit before they reach the market. Remember, it's a Renault - I could see this being big in France....they have no taste there, anyway.
