I have a dragstrip simulator thats fun to play with.... if anybody is curious about a change if a change in their set-up would result in an improved et, let me know your set-up....I'll see what the sim says. Overall, I think its fairly accurate, but of course, don't spend any money solely on what it spits out.

Here's a sample of an output screen from an old set-up of mine.

Here's an output screen after I in theory loosened up the converter another 800 rpm.

One more time....

I have no idea.... but you can scale it and see the whole document. With most viewers, down in the lower right hand corner....75% probably works best.

The below is a 94 vette, auto, 2.59 gears, 3350 lb raceweight at a typical midwest track @ 900 ft.

2nd picture, the only change was to 3.07 gears.... looks like it likes it, you improve a couple of tenths. From experience with engines with a flat torque curve like the LT-1, even more impressive gains would be seen by a converter upgrade.

I personally do not know how accurate this is, I don't have a lot of experience with stock LT-1 corvettes.... so take it for what its worth.

Beach, the software automatically resizes the pics to 300 pixels wide. (Sometimes they randomly show full size though.)

To make they show full size, edit your post so the images are tagged like so: <img width=800> Assuming the pic is 800 pixels wide. On your last post, I went in and edited them to show full size.
