I just figured I would post a picture in the C6 section since most people still lurk in the C4 section. Thats one more C6 on the site!

As I posted in the New Memebers section.... I'm back. This was our Black Friday Purchase... Much better than Jimbo's 01 and 10X better then the Malibu or Cobalt I was under the impression we were buying.

Very nice. Lets see some pics and specs. I told you it wouldn't be long until you were behind the wheel of another one!

I took your advice....

The pictures I took today suck! So tomorrow I will take a couple of better ones and post again.

Its a Black 2005 Z51 Corvette with the 2LT Package: Drilled Rotors, Bigger Brakes, better trans gearing, LS2 - 400HP Motor. Its extremely fast, I was surprised when I put my foot down.

I have to say though... and I AM NOT COMPLANING by any means... I still miss the 89. You will see another C4 in the driveway sometime in the next couple of years I am sure. Each generation of Corvette has something different to offer. Its amazing. There is no better or best Corvette, they are all great; C1-C6.

Congrats and welcome to the C6 side!! Enjoy the new found power and respect it...

I agree with your comment about the C4. I also miss my 95, though as I spend more time with my 08 I miss it a little less.

Enjoy that new ride...

Welcome to what some consider the Dark Side. I too have moved up through the generations, starting with my father's C3 to my C4, my C5 Z06 and now my C6. Each one has a different feel to it, but I am very happy with my C6 too. What other car can you take in full factory trim and run a 12.17 quarter mile! Granted, I have the LS3 with NPP option (rated 436hp), but still...these cars are awesome!

Supposedly the 05 Z51 in stock trim runs a 12.5

We'll see, you can count on that.

I miss the C4 but I'm gald we moved to the dark side.

100% factory 05 Z51 will run around 12.8. Throw a head/cam package on it and you will see high 11's.

I have 3 sets of wheels. The OE, and 2 sets of CCW Corsairs. The original set was not coated so some pics show that. I then got them powdercoated a dark grey. The other set of CCW's are anodized black.
