This morning on the radio they were telling a story about an old guy in his 80's who had been a ham radio operator since he was about 12, and who built and sold them on ebay as a hobby. He got an e-mail from a guy some years back who was very interested, and after a number of back-and-forth exchanges, the old man suggested that the guy come and visit he and his wife for a week to learn more. The interested guy turned out to be Joe Walsh - he did come and stay, and it is now one of his hobbies.
