Anybody running Corsa's on an LT1/4?

I am running stock back to the resonator, which I just replaced with a Magnaflow, and eliminators. Still a tad loud at cruise in the cabin, so when a pair of slightly abused Corsas showed up I bought them. Might be awhile before I get them put on though.

That's strange. It must be an LT1 thing. I had LT headers, Magnaflow Spun Cats, no resonators, out magnaflow mufflers and it was very quite during cruise with no drone.

Corsa's tend not to drone, but I find them to be very loud when crusing. I was in an LT1 Camaro that had a Corsa system and I did not car for it at all.

Just my $0.02... Exhaust systems are funny, what sounds good to someone may not sound good to someone else.

I've got no mufflers or resonators on the LT1. Just bumps in the pipes behind the cats (chambered catback).
Loud in the lower gears but at 70 in 6th, you can't hear them.

I have the Corsa from the cats back and it isn't loud enough for me, but it does sound good.

That sounds like what I am looking for then. I have gotten tired of the drone (resonance) with the eliminators, but I know the stock muflers would be way too quiet.

The chambered catback & eliminators would be loud enogh for you, I'll bet.
But I do have to tip-toe by the LEOs.

I'm pretty happy with my stock exhaust with long tubes, but I'd like to hear a Corsa sometime. I gave a friend a ride last summer, and as soon as I started it, he said, "That's loud!". Of course, he drives an Acura TL - LOL!

I have the Corsa, EM Long tubes with no cats and it's plenty loud.

How much noise a certian exhaust makes is all about what you put in front of it.

I don't think it would matter what kind of exhaust I had on mine... It'd still sound like a race car.

I have corsa's, too... love'm...

The thing with the Corsa is that after about 2300 RPM, they do get a bit noisy.

The key to them is not just the muffler, but the resonator, too. Add in the cats... they do a TON to kill noise, the rest of the exhausts job is to kill the resonance.

The C4 cabin is a resonance chamber... the rear storage area just adds insult to injury. The L98 is less boomy because of the center cat... but the LT1 just booms. I had elims on at one point, and they were gnarly. Hated the boom.

The Corsas are one of the BEST components I have put on my Vette.

I recommend them to anyone.
