Happy Monday! Ha. I'm off, so suck it.

Well, after doing drywall for a few hours yesterday I remembered why a long time ago I said I'd never do it again...lol. Unfortunately we got a late start and didn't get as much finished as I would have liked to. But we did a lot of the harder stuff. Ceiling parts, the 12 cuts on one board junk, etc. So my BIL was very grateful to have the extra set of hands. I know he's sick and tired of the basement job, so it's nice to get it moved a little further along.

How was everyone's weekend? Anything exciting?

So where are our missing members? Notorious, Vetteblondie, who else am forgetting to mention? Haven't heard from them lately.

Indeed, there is no soreness quite like that induced by putting up drywall. At least we have things like the Roto-Zip to make the job a little easier.

Another couple days in the deep-freeze here, then it is supposed to warm up a little. I'm not gonna hold my breath.

Yeah, where have the missing regulars disappeared to? Hopefully vacationing somewhere warm.

Vacation is over..... The wife went back to work today.

Good Morning!
It was a busy weekend. We had our annual awards banquet.
I won a great door prize, but I'm not sure yet what it entitles me to.

I won a "Weekend Field Pass" at Corvettes at Carlisle. I need to call them to arrange the details. What I think it is, is a pass to bring my car into the infield and park it somewhere, but I'm not sure of the details.

Also --- worked on the spouses Nissan Xterra yesterday replacing the brake lamps as she had one out. What a PITA figuring out how the Japanese think. I also changed the oil, air filter and oil. Oil filter is also a PITA to remove if you have normal sized hands.

That is a back problem waiting to happen.

Went snowboarding yesterday, got back late after drinks and dinner.

Went to Mountain High, which is a crappy local joint outside of L.A. Overcrowded, lots of runs closed, slushy wet snow, but damn it was great fun. I wanted to stay longer for night skiing.

I don't get why some people drive out there and spend $50 to complain about how much it sucks compared to all the other ski resorts.
