This came up on thread about coilover spring rates.

[QUOTE]Randy@DRM:
Well here is a video that I found on the computer last night. Phil and John I can see racing in heaven:blueangel: We did kinda bad on the top speed of this run. 7200 rpm was our shift points not 6200 rpm. But none the less the car did 196 on the drive down and 198 on the drive back up. Doug and the customer drove the car to the shootout. This was one of our last shootouts for the mags, we brought what we sold to customers. We didn't test house cars, like everyone is doing now.

Phils comments on the video are pretty good about the coilover package that we have been using, racing and selling. All of our WC cars back then ran 375-450 front and 250-300 rear. This car was in that range also.

I want coil overs.

Phil was a great guy. He is missed.

I will watch this when I can use my desktop... it has better speakers.

I live next to the Marine base down here, and I'll be damned if that Z doesn't sound like the rest of the low flying aircraft at those speeds.
