It's nice relying on the Vette as a daily driver. I know when I go down south to the Lake for the weekend, like last weekend, I go in the Vette and it's my only mode of transportation for those three days. It's very nice and reassuring that it not only drives very well day in and day out, but that I get to spend so much extra time in it.

Now THAT rocks! It looks like a great event!!!
I am a firm beleiver that Corvettes of all generations are capible of being a daily driver. Short of the uber-high horsepower monsters (they are so fickle), the rest are very elemental forms of transportation. I find it utterly amazing the number of people who are shocked that my daily driver is a Corvette. There is this perception that they should be locked in a hermectically sealed box and left there... ugh... no thank you. DRIVE'M!!! |

I've done Carlisle a couple times before, but that's just for the day since I'm only an hour and a half away if I leave from our Frederick house.
All new belts, hoses, gear and tranny lube, antifreeze and Mobil1. Should be good to go. Weather looks good after 12 days of rain. Shouldn't need the a/c. I'll post some pics when I get back. Here's one from last year when we only went down for the weekend. Really cool seeing 3000+ pre '77 cars. Mark  |
