Good Morning CGs!

Well I slept in a bit this morning and it was nice. Woke up but I'm still not all with it yet. Need a few more minutes.

Wifey and I went out for a belated bday dinner last night. A restaurant not too far from the house. Upperscale but semi casual American style grillhouse or whatever they called themselves. I had a nice skirtsteak and shrimp combo, wife had chilean sea bass. Great meal. Food was very good. A little pricey. After appetizer, dessert, etc, bill was $75 plus a tip for the two of us. But we do that very infrequently. Baby was with grandma so we had a little break.

Got a list of chores to do today. Work in the yard a bit and have to watch the baby in the morning while my wife gets her hair cut. Moved my mustang project with my buddy til this afternoon. Hopefully it all goes smoothly.

OK, it's not Thursday but got a funny joke from a buddy:

A drunk walks out of a bar with a key in his hand and he is stumbling back and forth.

A cop on the beat sees him and approaches,
'Can I help you Sir?'

'Yessh! Ssssomebody ssstole my carrr', the man replies.

The cop asks, 'Where was your car the last time you saw it?'

'It wasss on the end of thisshh key', the man replies.

About that time the cop looks down and sees the man's wiener hanging out of his fly for all the world to see.

He asks the man, 'Sir are you aware that you are exposing yourself?'

Momentarily confused, the drunk looks down at his crotch and without missing a beat, blurts out.... 'Holy crap! My girlfriend's gone, too!!'

We had some server T-Storms yesterday and last night.

Went to my Corvette Club meeting last night. Had some good food and enjoyed the company of my Vette buddies.

Looks like the weekend should be nice weather. I think we are having some friends from the club over for a cookout on Sunday, maybe go down to the beach too.

Now its back to the grind again - hope you all have a good day.

I think the clouds are finally supposed to start blowing out of here - haven't seen the sun since last Friday.

Next to "miserable" in the dictionary is a picture of the round of golf I played last night - ugh! At least we tied our match, which was a miracle.

I'm going to call to get an update on the engine today - I'd sure like to get started on putting it back together this weekend!

Good Morning Gurus!

Putzing around the house for a couple hours before a four hour video shoot at the zoo today. Those folks are fun to work with. I might get up close and personal with lions, tigers and bears today, so if you don't hear from me, it probably means a large animal had a really big steak with a lot of fat in it.

I've shot in strip clubs that were more dangerous, so I'm not really worried.

Got a few things done yesterday, hopefully I'll get a few more done today. Watched the middle grandsons game last night, they lost but it is fun to watch, older grandson won his game.

I have to go out and look at a computer today. Dang thing works fine when I have it here, but when the lady takes it home it poops on her. So I'll go out and see if I can figure out what's going on with it. Other than that I'm pretty free today...at least nothing special planned..

Man, my arm is killing me! It feels like I've been churning all that ice cream by hand. D'oh!

Anyhow, after a long day of work yesterday - started with a 9am meeting, and I got home around 10:45pm, I'm home-based the next few days which is great.

I'm off to get more ice cream churning - I think I'll start with some Lemon Ice Cream.
