Good Morning CGs!

Not a lot going on. Gotta work today. I am jealous of my buddy who took a couple days off and he's off Sun-Thu and back to work Fri. Oh well, I just keep plugging away. My time will come.

Doing some reading it looks like the tach problem on the 79 is due to a bad circuit board in the back. I'll have to replace it, but that will probably be a project for next year. Not really in the schedule for now. Still waiting for a couple parts from GM and then it'll be back on the road. Just gonna drive it a bit til Dad picks it up at the end of the month. Then I can get started on the 89 motor rebuild. Never ends.

How was everyone's Saturday night? Hopefully safe and enjoyable.

Hope everyone has a great day!

Matthew

Good Afternoon - watching Pinks All Out - 4 lane drag racing at ZMAX Raceway in North Carolina. Pretty cool watching four cars go down the strip at the same time.

Formula One's coming on in a half hour so, that'll eat uo half the morning.

I've been working on making pizza dugh that doesn't taste like cardboard. I actually made a pizza last nite that I could eat, not throw away.

Had to close up the blinds and drapes last nite at 4:30, it hit 81 degrees in the livingroom.

Uploading a video to utube from last night's State H.S. Marching band competition. Damn, is it slow. (2.5 hours for 10 minutes)

Had a good time, even though it was cold (low 30s).
Ate at a local Mexican joint in the town the competition was in, the Carne Asada was shoe leather quality, but the wife's Chalupas' were good. Our daughter (ex-H.S.Color Guard Captain) and her boyfriend went along.

Getting ready to watch some more football today.

beer is cold and ready.

You only have 2 years of that max.

We had it for 16 years.

Back from a long day at the autox. Came up in my usual 3rd spot. Came to within .300 sec of the spouses best time in the morning sessions. She blew me away in the afternoon. Maybe I 'll swap cars with her one time just to see. Is it the car or is it the driver? She has a 3.2 219 horsepower car. I'm driving a 3.0 189 horse car. That might be an interesting swap. I hate her clutch though. My heel drags the floor on the uptake. That's enough excuses for this weekend.
