Since Matatk is currently incapable of launching the daily chat, I'll step up and start the ball rolling.

Yesterday was a rainy, lazy day and by 3:00PM the boredom of doing nothing had start to set in. Took a short nap at 4:30. The next thing I know it's dinner time and after that took in a few TV shows. Today will not be a repeat of yesterday. I'll be out the door shortly. I have several outdoor projects lined up. One involves hour upon hour of pressure cleaning. That's on the hot sheet so I guess I'll make a move on that. Have a great day everyone.

We dodged yet another winter storm in South Bend. Cloudy high of 27 with a minor accumulation of snow today. My wood students are finishing up a trophy cabinet for the school today, they will stain it tomorrow with a Cherry stain came out really well. One day I need to take time out and learn how to post pictures on CG. Have a great day!

Four inches of the heaviest snow I can remember yesterday. Heart attack snow. I'm glad I have my head porting project to keep me busy, so I'm not brooding over this s**t weather.

It seems like we no longer have seasons in the midwest...we move from summer to winter and if were lucky we may have 2 weeks of spring before hot humid summer. We had 3 inches of Heartache snow yesterday,I'm no fool I let the Toro Snow Blower suffer.

GM CGs!

Well, I'm back in business! Got a new (old) keyboard from a computer buddy of mine who had it laying around. Not a fancy wireless one (so the wife is upset ) but it works and that's the important part!

Ended up working a double last night so I didn't get home til midnight. Luckily I am off for my weekend now Baby is away at Grandma's so I could sleep in. Good for me. I have some errands to take care of. I bought a new edelbrock intake from a guy on CF, so I have to get a MO sent out to him. I also bought a used broken laptop off ebay so I can fix the one my daughter broke. It comes with a good tested screen and a few other parts for under $85 and it's a dell, so I am happy about that. Whatever I don't use maybe someone else will want? Dunno.

Hope everyone has a great day!

Matthew

Best way is to set up a photobucket account and upload the pictures to there, then post the link!

Good Mornin'

Just got out of my Teusday morning meeting, and am trying to figure out where I left off yesterday. The weather still is cold and gray with some bits of snow in the forecast.

I pick up my Car tonight and bring it home from its month long visit to the dealership where it was on display. A 1960 Ragtop will be taking its place for the next month and then I have a Numbers Matching NCRS 1963 Z06 scheduled for the month after that.

Also tonight is our monthly shop night, but since so many guys won't be driving their cars we are having a guy come out from Hagerty Insurance to give a presentation on collector car insurance and show a slide show from some damages that occured at Barrett Jackson last year. Should be interesting nontheless.

Matt - good idea about finding laptops on eBay. I need another one for the garage as the one I was doing scans with died a while back.

Morning guys...It's a typical day here. I've got a couple little projects going. And that will keep me busy and I have a computer to troubleshoot. I think it has a weak Mobo or CPU, as when it gets warmed up it locks up and just quits. If that's the case, I'll just have to find out how much money they want to spend on a 5 year old computer.

I've had pretty good luck getting new computers. Our tech coordinator and I are really good friends. For a few years I was the assistant tech coordinator, to this day I have admin rights to our complete network. I still get calls to troubleshoot some of the easier problems.
