I met the head of production at Powermaster and we hit it off well. He practically gave me a custom, black case with chrome pulley and fan, 140 amp. race prepped alternator.
As the pictures show, I went with a different case configuration that, with the shorter bracket arm, looks better, is more rigid and is more readily available should I ever be in a bind for one. Alrighty then!
I'm gonna have to start hitting up some local vendors for some good stuff for a free plug. Let me see ... What do I need? ..... First thing would be to locate some local vendors ..... |

Actually, this all happened by chance. The man expected nothing in return. I needed a new alternator and figured why not go directly to the source since they are in the neighborhood. Let's see, south Fla. vendors? Suntan lotion? How about the Cuban mafia. They probably dispense something.

The power steering res. has to be moved to get the lower pivot bolt out, a pain. I drilled the threads out on the right side of the bracket and used a longer bolt with nut to secure the alternator, inserted from the right. Next time it will be easier.
