Good Morning CGs!

Well I'd say for most people it's back to the daily grind, huh? I kind of enjoyed the fact that it was everyone else's day off yesterday because there was no traffic on my way to work

So after installing the new filter assembly on the pool (had to cut off a rusted clamp last night and replace that) I filled it up. Wouldn't you know it, the damn thing is leaking from the seal on the basket itself. The pool itself is fine, but the basket is two pieces sandwiched together with a rubber gasket. I guess everything compressed together and it leaks. So I have to take it all apart again!! As much as I used to love my pool, I hate my pool...lol.

Still have to get a new compression fitting for the trans line on the vette. Once that's fixed I'll be driving in style again and hopefully get some datalogging done.

Hope everyone has a great day!

Matthew

It's good to know someone who owns a pool. And a boat.

It is a friggin' sauna here for the 5th or 6th day in a row. Supposedly there is relief on the way, but I'll believe it when I see it. Thought I was gonna get carried off the golf course by gnats yesterday - incessant little mofuggers. Hope they aren't as thick at league this afternoon.

Have a good day, everyone!

Morning.....nice and cool here so far, supposed to warm up a little. We've had a really nice stretch of weather. Back to the grind for the wife and daughter, but me...well I have some work to do in the shop and watch the two younger boys.

I'm with Brad, it nice to know people that own a pool and a boat. The gnats were bad earlier but they seem to have gone away for the time being. I missed Mens night last night as we didn't get home soon enough.

I hope that everyone has s great day.

I glad it's other people who own pools and boats.

I'm a little fuzzy this morning, keep having this recurring nightmare.

Was hot here...thermostat said 94 at one point. I started working on the pool and go figure, a torrential downpour occurs. WTF, just my luck. At least I made it to the store to get the pieces that were missing from the box in the first place. I also stopped by carquest and got a new compression fitting. Life is good.
