Howdy! I'm guessing Matt will be a tad busy today ;-)

Another nice day on tap, 75 and sunny, and hopefully a few more to come. Last workday of the week for me - we're taking tomorrow off to drive up to northern MN to visit my sister.

Congrats to the Phillies and Roy Halladay - what a performance! Not so good for the Twins last night - a lack of clutch hitting had them losing their 10th straight post-season game.

Have a great day, all!

Good Mornin' All,

Lookin' forward to the first Baby Guru photos!

Last night I wrestled the car around my garage some more to get more room and height to get under there and remove the tranny. I wound up cutting up a 2X12 and stacking them, then placing my race jack on top of those to get the needed height to extend my 6Ton stands.

I'm not sure if I should pull the transmission completely out from under the car first, or pull the engine first? I guess since I'm under there removing all the neccesary items I should do the transmission first then go back up top and pull the motor. I think I'll have to drop the height of the car to more easily remove the engine once the transmission is out. Things to ponder.

Take Care ... Keep smiling

Oh, is anyone going to the Toys4Tots bash in Atlantic City on Saturday?

Damn Yankees! Halladay had a Halla of a night. He was unhittable. More boring perfect weather here today, big game tonight in Manhattan, KS when the Huskers take on the K-State wildcats. I grew up in Manhattan and was a K-State fan so am always conflicted when the Huskers play them. Go Big Red!

Those 2 teams have played each other each year for 88 years. This will be the last one.

Congrats to Matt and family again! Can't wait for some pics.

Let's go gettum Guru's!

Good luck, Don! No help here, as I left my tranny in the car when I pulled the engine.

Heard a great story this morning - a guy goes into Starbucks and orders some fancy coffee. The gal give him his order and he says, "Don't you know who I am?" She says no, and he says, "I'm Terrell Owens!" She apologizes and says that she is new and hasn't met all the employees yet. LMAO!

Good Morning CGs!

Back is sore....spent the night at the hospital last night and the couch in the room is like sleeping on a rock. Ugh.

Baby is doing well but on some preventative antiobiotics right now. Had a little bit of fluid in his lungs, which is normal, but he was having a hard time breathing due to it. So they preemptively started him on some antiobiotics but now all his blood work is normal. So he has to be here an extra day while they monitor him. No biggie and we're excited to take him home! I'll get some pictures up later.

Hope everyone has a great day!

Matthew

Morning Gurus...lots of people from here going up to Manhattan for the game today. I don't really care, I just hope that it's a good game, hate to see blowouts either way.

Kids are relatively calm today, nice weather might have something to do about that. Grandson plays out of town today, so I will be traveling later. It's an hour drive, taking daughter and her husband, Grandma is staying home to get younger GS to his football practice.

What a feat for the Phillies and Halladay, that would have been quite a game to see. I hope the Twinkies can get their stuff together, Brad, not a Yankee fan at all.

Not going to be any help at all Don, but be careful in tearing it down.
