Saturday

Saturday

It's Saturday .....

I don't know what I'm so happy about. Every day is Saturday. Went to pick up the wifes 911 yesterday. She wouldn't accept it. They have a lip that runs around the top corner of the drivers seat. They seamed it on center of the drivers side instead of on the inside where the shifter is. That's gonna catch on everything she said and talked to the shop owner. The sewing machine operator took responsibility and apologized. My wife said ... You don't have to apologize, just fix it. Needless to say, I'll be picking it up later this morning. The leather is nice. It's soft material, like glove leather, and it makes the interior look like new. I'm not as picky but she has an eye for detail. Whatever keeps her happy .......

Good morning....hey get it the way you want it, you're paying for it, so have it done right. We are headed to the grandson's last football game today, then later I am working, as a line judge, for Sub-state volleyball tourney we are hosting. Our football team last night got their arse handed to them. The other team was really pretty good, it could have been 100-0.

If the weather is nice, I'd like to get teh Corvette out for a drive

You'll have to put up some pics of the spiffy new seats, Tommy!

Gonna have to get ready to start packing up the Jeep for our trip up to northern MN shortly - heading out around noon. We always bring waaaaay more stuff than we need.

Have a great weekend!

Good Morning CGs!

Happy Saturday to all. Folks are here for a visit to see the rugrats.

Not sure what's on today. Take rugrat #1 to gymnastics and then we'll probably do something with the in-laws.

Scored a super deal on ebay overnight. A guy had an ignition control module (AC-Delco) listed and he put the part number and stated it was for an 84 olds toronado. What are there, like 3 left in existence? Thing is, that part number fits like 300 models. So I bid on it...for $.99 and $3 shipping. it's brand new in the package and costs like 40-50 at the dealer. So I'm happy. It'll be the backup ICM I carry in the car.

Hope everyone has a great day!

Matthew

Jay Leno has a nice one, bumped a bit to 1,000 horsepower.

Good Morning Guys: Fall is here! gloomy day, Dads fixing my front door of my house, looks like the handle is broken on the storm door. Next week we winterize the Vettes and tuck them away in his shop. No traveling for awhile! Need to spend some quality time at home.
I've been reading Vetrons recent posts, he is really is a great guy but me thinks he's is getting burned out with stupid people that have the reins of education. His students love him as well as "most of his staff". I had to mention this because its reads like he can be very caustic! but thats just his sick sense of humor at times.
Well guys I promised the big guy (dad) I would fix him lunch! Made him some finger sandwichs once! bad idea took 20 to fill him up plus home made soup and chocolate milk.
He wants to go out pistol shooting this afternoon. Yea like he really needs it! but wants to make sure I haven't lost my edge he calls it.
BTW todays lunch is chicken wraps, tossed salad and a tort for desert and a gal. of chocolate milk.
Have a great day guys. Erin

Funny, yesterday I took off my storm door, pulled off the old wooden frame and put a new one on.

I've never stored a car in winter.

Lunch sounds good, I don't know what mine's going to be but, last nite's was really good. Linguine and Scallops.

I had them specially mounted so the spokes front and rear always line up.

Well, those seats look nice Tommy. Bill I think that Leno's Toronado is a bit earlier than that....1966 I think, there is probably even less of those around today.

I have just gotten home from working the sub-state volleyball. 6 hours of volleyball. Thank goodness I didn't have to make any critical calls. We did see some really good volleyball though. I'm tired so I think maybe I'll hit the hay early tonight.
