Yea, good law. That's pretty much the way it is here.

The other year, I changed all my outside lights to motion sensor. Nice to have some warning if you're sitting at night with the doors and windows open.

What amazes me is that you have to have a law that allows you to do what is in my opinion a God given right to protect you and yours. We need a little more deterent like that so the scum start to think about it.
